- Happy Father's Day, Danny! We bought a 1956 Cub Farmall Tractor. It is the same type tractor Danny learned to garden with as a child. He loves the memories it has brought back and the fun learning to plow with this tractor as an adult.

All I can say is, GOD loves us all, unconditionally, but when we love him back, HE blesses us in ways, we never saw coming! I have seen it MANY times, in my own life. I converse with Him daily,a lot, not prayers in a book, but with my ❤,and FROM my ❤. Please people, try it, he’s waiting!

I will paraphrase. Does HE not know the needs and the fall of every sparrow? Has HE not numbered even the hairs of your head? Are y’all not worth more to HIM than many sparrows? HE made us for two purposes: to tend His garden and to provide HIM with fellowship. HE OBVIOUSLY has been anticipating this double “gotcha” for most of your life. Let us ALWAYS be thankful to HIM and bless HIS NAME for all the uncountable multitude of HIS blessings, whether we are aware of them or not. Even hard times can be blessings, but we have to be willing to learn the lessons that only hard times can teach. We can learn - or become - the lesson. It is FAR better to humble ourselves than be humiliated. Choices always have consequences.

It’s such a breath of fresh air to see and listen to a fine Christian man. There aren’t many of us left. I love your tractor and have wanted one for a long time. I bought a brand new Kubota LX3310 and then saw a cub sitting on the lot lol. God Bless you friend.
My Dad had a 1950s Farmall Cub A tractor that looked very similar to yours. It was the work horse of the farm. Dad passed in '73. My brothers wouldn't let me have it nor buy ( they were going to restore it) so it just sat in one tractor shed or another and rusted away. They're all gone but one brother now. Miss my family.
I also used to stand on the old draw bar and ride along with my Pop.

That's are cool tractor, I've had a few of the yellow a white cub cadet from the 60s and 70s. My grandpa used one two mow his 4 acres of yard. He bought it new in 1969, the year I was born a year and my daddy restored it and still has it. GOD did send you that tractor.😇😇😇

You were meant to be the next owner of that tractor! My granddaddy had one of the yellow & grey Cub Farmall tractors, and a old 1 cylinder John Deere. He loved that Cub and used it the most on his 55 acre retirement farm.
That was immaculate timing! There are no coincidences, what a blessing and one beautiful machine!! They do not build things today to last like they used to.. years ago thr craftsmanship mattered. Today we have planned obsolescence with things being built to intentionally break down to incur regular income for parts and repair so the company can continuously erake in more money from the consumer.. I love my 1990 dodge ram Cummins Turbo Diesel , I remember the day my dad bought her brand new. He took me to get my permit in this truck and when he passed the truck came to me. It still runs like a champ.. nothing like to sound of a well built old engine.

First tractor we ever had was one just like that one. We transitioned from horses to the tractor. Dad changed over most of the horse drawn tools to pull behind the tractor.
We had a cub, a super A, and an M. I'll be the first to agree that the cub does the absolute best work. But changing the equipment is something right out of Hades!!! Takes 2 men to put on the one disk turner or the sickle mower. But it takes 3 to put those cultivators back on once off!!! I praised the Lord the day we got a Ford with a 3 point hitch ;) But my grandfather wasn't so trusting about the Ford Cultivator. Thought I might plow up some corn, so he made me plow the garden with a mule and a double shovel. Every time I turned that mule around and headed back up a row I could see that perfectly good tractor just sitting there. A time or two, I got to missing the Cub LOL!

Awesome! Today’s tractor ain’t got nothing on that tractor!!!! My grandfather and his brothers farmed 400 acres with one of those. They grew everything.

Our first tractor for our place was a 1949 Farmall Cub and we loved it. Sold it a few years ago, but wish we would of kept it. Only paid $1500 and got a Lot of pieces to go with it. You have a great Blessing there Danny. That tractor is amazing. God is so good. Happy Fathers Day !!!! 🙏🇺🇸♥️

My Grandpa and most of the farmers in his neighborhood bought Cubs in the late 1940s and especially the 50s. All of them bought them to raise tobacco with as well as garden. Grandpa's which was a 1955 model, was the first tractor I ever drove and used. One of my cousins has it today. I have my Daddy's Farmall 140.

Nice Tractor. Farmalls are good old tractors. We have a 1936s model . We hand cranked it too start till we put on a electric starter. Nice too get that for your Homestead. God has his plans for good and he makes it happen too. What a wonderful God of blessings.

And then knowing the family who owned it and the gentleman who restored it giving you all the implements that go along with it is amazing! I am hoping i can find one local to my area this year or the next, I think they are such a huge part of the history of the Farm, and I would be proud to own one someday. My late husband took one of those out of the grove when he was 10 and got it running and used it that season to plow and plant soybeans in NE. He didn't get to harvest, he got shipped back to CA. He would have been 70 this year.
