      The further we stray from God and Biblical values the worse society gets. Don't mean to sound preachy but it's the truth.

      Looks like a awesome place to live on paper. Democrats turned that place into a mad house. New Hampshire is a great state, no sales tax. Motto is live free or die, says it on the license plates. Southern NH around port's out would be the place to go, 5 mins from the beach, great places to eat and a shopping district right down the street. Plus your on the border of Maine which is also a great state.

       @FRANK203CASTLE New Hampshire is a blue Democrat state too. The difference is it has enough of a Republican opposition that provides a counterbalance to the Democrat majority. In California, one party has monopolized power. Any state that has one party domination (Dem. or GOP) without an opposition and opposing viewpoint is pushed to extreme ideas. I live in a blue state that has a larger percentage of Democrats than California, but we have regularly elected Republicans to be governor (the last 2/4 governors were Republican) so our state has a decent blend of both left and right policies that doesn't let the dominant party become too powerful and carried away with their policies.

      @@Intranetusa makes sense, most people I know honestly don't vote on anything. I think that's changed the past few years but the balance makes alot of sense. I think both parties can make it work so no really bad ideas get pushed through. I think the biggest issue is how far left some democrats have gone the past few years. I lean more left than right but they are heading down a bad path for their party and the people who have to deal with it. I just hope it gets sorted out before things get any worse for anyone. I just want a happy health country for all of us. Need that balance back!

    I am a 4th generation dairy farmer in imperial valley and I can verify everything you say about the California tax and business regulations is very true. We have the highest tax and strictest business, labor, and environmental regulations in the country and it is crazy knowing that 85% of winter crops in the us come from the imperial valley and politicians in LA and San Francisco want to take more water away from us despite our water conservation efforts. It is very hard to compete with the prices from china but we as a country are shooting ourselves in foot if we put so much reliance on other countries for food. I know of 3 other family’s that I am close to and they moved before me because of the same reason! It is a beautiful state but that wasn’t enough to keep me there. You may make good money but they are taking it right back from in either taxes, housing, or fuel. California gas prices have always been high even when the rest of the country was paying much less. I am much happy being out of that state.

  • @jcxxmotoxx

    5th generation Californian......it's rough. I remember my mother saying to me when my parents were buying their 2nd house in 1979, "If prices keep going up, I don't know how you'll ever afford it". I think they paid like $75k for a new 1600sqft rancher on a couple acres. That place is easily $1.5m now. But I think there are much larger problems, water being the first. Secondly, I'd say infrastructure, roads, etc. And we're currently being held hostage to a multi-billion dollar "high-speed" train, which keeps getting smaller in scope and larger in price, yeah we could use some big change here. I won't even mention the southern border, another whole can of worms.
    But the whole reason I commented was to say that I'd vote for Jocko for Governor. He'd run laps around that fool we have in there now.

    My father, a Marine, went into local politics after he retired. I was shocked because he’d never shown any inclinations to even pay attention to politics, much less participate. But the town in which he lives had a bunch of typical BS going on in the town council, and he ran for office because, as he saw it, if there’s a problem somewhere and he knows about it, he’s obligated to do something. He won a seat and spent the next few years as a Jocko-like voice and influence in the circus side-show. Not long after he got in office, a close friend running for state office asked me to manage his campaign. Despite the fact that I, like my father, had no inclinations to participate in the shit show, I took the job out of respect for my friend and based on my father’s example. I can tell you that experience proved to me what Eli is saying here - if more sane, logical, thoughtful people don’t get involved then we can’t complain becaose the monkeys are running the zoo.

The state is lost to the Communists. And no, I am not trying to be funny. The Communists have completely taken over. JW talked about the farmers in this video. I am currently a new California political refugee. I work 4/10s in a burn unit, and my other three days I’m building a house in a red state, for my family who are still in California because the economic hostility toward the citizens there doesn’t permit a smooth way for us to fully pull stakes until we have a roof on this end. I lived in cali for 21 years in the Central Valley ( go Fresno state bulldogs!), my wife was born and raised in coastal wine country; it deeply saddens us both what has happened to such a beautiful state that was once a bastion of economic success.

    • @thechongwolla
      @thechongwolla 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am on a month long road trip (from England) and Fresno was suprisingly run-down although people had talked highly of it.
      Stockton looked great on the pictures so I stayed a night but jeez. Apart from a soulless recently updated downtown its really deprived.
      LA was dirty outside and the food joints were dirty too both chains and independent places.
      Im glad I am seeing all the shades of California, it is my intention to. But holy shit some parts of the urban areas are fucked.
      I wouldnt raise a family in California. Im considering migrating to the USA as I love the people in the small towns and cities so much but the large metropolises are to be frank, overated, and mostly shitholes except for the tourist trap areas.

    • @Natedoc808
      @Natedoc808 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thechongwolla oh yeah, Fresno is a total shithole, especially where highway 99 cuts runs through it; meth city all the way and teeming with illegals and the black market crime that comes with it. I lived in a smaller city to the northeast called Clovis, which votes red all the way and was really nice until the state government under our previous moronic governor and our current purely evil governor signed into law and sued clovis for not having enough high density/low income housing called section 8 (government subsidized rent). Our schools went from ranking of 9/10 to 6/10 average in 3 years, litter began showing up all along the highway, graffiti on the signage and buildings, sirens at night as Fresno began coming to Clovis. It’s a sad truth but when you import the ghetto or third world into the non-ghetto/first world you don’t elevate the ghetto/third world, you just get more ghetto/third world.
      Stockton got a huge taxpayer funded grant to revitalize downtown, same as Fresno, just made fresh new surfaces for the ghetto to spray paint, the homeless to shit on and the addicts to throw needles on. California is doomed and yes it’s a complete shithole, as are all the major cities. They also have one thing in common, they’re run by the same political party with a jackass for its mascot.

    love how he says L.A. and San Francisco and Silicon Valley is "NOT" California. This is true and the same for Denver and the rest of Colorado. The two largest cities in a state think they speak for the rest of the state. The imperial valley feeds the world and the rest of the country. Also Salinas Valley feeds the world. I live in the Netherlands and I see food being sold here in Europe from the Salinas valley. I am originally from the Silicon Valley born and raised then lived in Santa Cruz for 12 years now living in europe and truly hate how the media and politicians only speak in terms of San Francisco and L.A. as if those two cities speak for the entire state of California. Also California has lost its mind allowing Gaven to ruin the state even further and line his pockets and his family's also with the help of his Aunt Polosi....

He wanted nothing more than to retire and live out his life at Valley Forge with Martha. Like you, he was needed. His countrymen called upon him to lead and once he forged the path for the future of our once great republic, he willingly laid down the reins of power and walked away. If any man has the leadership ability to lead us out of our current death spiral and the discipline to walk away once the mission is accomplished, it is you!
