Good to know I started adding analytics to onboarding is the right direction ⬆️ Also prompting to rate in second open instead of third is probably a good change to make 👍 popping it up in onboarding also interesting 🤔
@AppMasters do you suggest showing all users the Rating/Review screen after the paywall screen? Or do you only suggest showing it to the users that subscribed to the trial?
Do you recommend putting a hard paywall for apps in the playstore as well?I am getting around 30 installs per day but no one is buying the subscription,I am also using the chatgpt api which costs alot
I have strange fact, referring to 4.:10 Google have this in their policies: Example of violations: "Recurring clicks in the same button area causes the user to inadvertently click the final “continue” button to subscribe.". It looks like mechanism that 95% of apps have. I mean onboarding -> paywall (wth button in the same area) isn't allowed. Google for real rejected my app because of this issue while other apps can have flow like this. Did anyone else faced this problem before? What can I do?
More content like this will be ver appropriate but please, include screenshots with examples, for example, I cannot understand the use of the “paywall” example. Thank you.
You deserve a hug right now

Email me the screenshot of your paywall that google rejected. This is the first time I’m hearing of it.
@@appmasters Thanks for reply. I sent you an email.
What exactly is onboarding? You mention the 'onboarding screen' and the 'onboarding process', what does that refer to exactly?
The first initial screens before people start using your app.
Absolute gold
Thanks!
Gratitude 🙏🏽

Very informative 👌
Glad you think so!
I thought a hard paywall with no x is not allowed by the stores?
Depends on your app reviewer.

"make a lot of people happy, but with no money in the bank", this is exactly app dev teams should avoid.
