I never listened to opera or classical, either, until Dimash. Definitely never dreamed I'd be hanging on every note of a traditional Kazakh song, or learning songs in Russian, either. Now I can't get enough. Only Dimash could do that.

Dimash seems very confident on stage, but off stage he is really humble and not that confident at all. After this performance he asked his father several times if he did okay. Fnd in the SOS backstage footage they show him before he went on stage to perform and he seems so nervous he is about to faint. He is a great artist also because no matter what he can collect himself on stage and act as if he is doing the most natural thing in the world.
Personally, that had nothing to do with lack of confidence. Dimash still checks with family and friends after each concert and performance. Because, he always wants to improve and give best performance. Dimash said in an Interview; a singer will always think themselves sounding perfect, but you always need to have someone else give you feedback. That applies to his vocal training and performances.
@@barb_ec4436 I didn't say he is shy, I said he is humble and certainly not over confident, like he appears in Opera - that's pure acting superbly done, which is sometimes mistaken for cockiness. Personally, I think it's enough to look at him before he performs SOS on Singer to realize he appears on stage looking much more confident than he is off stage just a minute before. He also said at his concerts he is always nervous before going on stage, and when he is off stage he always is very humble and doesn't look too confident at all. The fact that he looks so confident on stage, the transformation he goes through, is a sign of a great artist in my opinion.
@@Chabtung there is a difference between... “not that confident at all”..and... “not over confident”... they have 2 different meanings in context. While Dimash is nervous before going on stage, he has said it is his desire to give audience a good performance, not in his abilities to do so. He also has stated that he wishes people would not focus or notice his (off stage) nervousness, but rather enjoy the performance that he presents. Most excelled artists are arguably nervous before performances, normal human quality.

Dimash is very educated, he graduated from the university with a Master's Degree in Composition ] by defending his Master's thesis with a perfect score, and receiving a recommendation for admission to doctoral studies in music. He is on his doktor studys now. He is considered the best singer ever in the world because he has a technique that no one owns, he sings in 12 languages, plays several instruments (piano, drums, Dombra ...) What sets him apart is his modesty and exceptional upbringing, he comes from a wonderful family that nurtures family values, respect and modesty. He is adored all over the world and his career is on the rise despite the current world pandemic. His concert tour around the world was interrupted last year due to the pandemic, but despite that, he held a live internet concert in January.

Dimash made me discover "voice coach reacts...." type of videos. It's so entertaining watching first Dimash reaction. The best example of his rap game is in his brand new single “Be With Me”. Here’s your contrast: First watch “Ogni Pietra”. This was a song written by infamous Russian composer Igor Krutoy, whom Dimash works with often, specifically for Dimash’s voice. Then go listen to “Be With Me”. We dears recommend familiarizing yourself with his “usual” work before checking that one out because it’s such a deviation (albeit fun). It’s also my personal suggestion that you watch/listen to the audio-only version of Be With Me before watching the new MV, because there’s so much to take in there that it can be overwhelming and something (vocals, MV action, lyrics) will definitely be overlooked.

It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him. Some info about Dimash. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 6-7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe! He also sings in about 12 languages and speaks 3 so far. He is born in May 24 1994. Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and approved to start his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night. Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to. The explanation is - an absolutely extraordinary talent paired with an unbelievable amount of hard work (he is classically trained since age 5, which already in this performance means 17 years of training) and the gift to pour emotions into every note. I love Dimash in this. Vitas did a very serious plain performance (lyrics are actually what dark) but Dimash always changes from the original. He did a very cheeky playful version because he new he was going to blow Vitas out of the water. Before going higher each level he did that cheeky pause and grin as if saying “are you ready for more”. I just love it. It is what makes the song.

If one were to create the perfect vocalist in a lab, yes, one would create Dimash! It’s interesting that on stage, Dimash is confident, but offstage he’s very shy. He is truly humble.

Dimash seems very confident on stage, but off stage he is really humble and not that confident at all. After this performance he asked his father several times if he did okay. Fnd in the SOS backstage footage they show him before he went on stage to perform and he seems so nervous he is about to faint. He is a great artist also because no matter what he can collect himself on stage and act as if he is doing the most natural thing in the world.
Personally, that had nothing to do with lack of confidence. Dimash still checks with family and friends after each concert and performance. Because, he always wants to improve and give best performance. Dimash said in an Interview; a singer will always think themselves sounding perfect, but you always need to have someone else give you feedback. That applies to his vocal training and performances.
@@barb_ec4436 I didn't say he is shy, I said he is humble and certainly not over confident, like he appears in Opera - that's pure acting superbly done, which is sometimes mistaken for cockiness. Personally, I think it's enough to look at him before he performs SOS on Singer to realize he appears on stage looking much more confident than he is off stage just a minute before. He also said at his concerts he is always nervous before going on stage, and when he is off stage he always is very humble and doesn't look too confident at all. The fact that he looks so confident on stage, the transformation he goes through, is a sign of a great artist in my opinion.

While Dimash is nervous before going on stage, he has said it is his desire to give audience a good performance, not in his abilities to do so.
He also has stated that he wishes people would not focus or notice his (off stage) nervousness, but rather enjoy the performance that he presents. Most excelled artists are arguably nervous before performances, normal human quality.

Dimash is very educated, he graduated from the university with a Master's Degree in Composition ] by defending his Master's thesis with a perfect score, and receiving a recommendation for admission to doctoral studies in music. He is on his doktor studys now. He is considered the best singer ever in the world because he has a technique that no one owns, he sings in 12 languages, plays several instruments (piano, drums, Dombra ...) What sets him apart is his modesty and exceptional upbringing, he comes from a wonderful family that nurtures family values, respect and modesty. He is adored all over the world and his career is on the rise despite the current world pandemic. His concert tour around the world was interrupted last year due to the pandemic, but despite that, he held a live internet concert in January.

The best example of his rap game is in his brand new single “Be With Me”. Here’s your contrast: First watch “Ogni Pietra”. This was a song written by infamous Russian composer Igor Krutoy, whom Dimash works with often, specifically for Dimash’s voice.
Then go listen to “Be With Me”. We dears recommend familiarizing yourself with his “usual” work before checking that one out because it’s such a deviation (albeit fun).
It’s also my personal suggestion that you watch/listen to the audio-only version of Be With Me before watching the new MV, because there’s so much to take in there that it can be overwhelming and something (vocals, MV action, lyrics) will definitely be overlooked.

It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him.
Some info about Dimash. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 6-7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe! He also sings in about 12 languages and speaks 3 so far. He is born in May 24 1994.
Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and approved to start his PhD.
He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500.
Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside).
They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night.
Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to.

Also in this show another contestant "Terry Lin" that was about 51 years young here he considered Dimash a dear friend at this point. But Dimash started telling them al he was his father around episode 9 I think!! That is a big respect and love from his part of the world to call him! Terry was gladly accepting it. They are still that close and also invites each other to there concerts and sometimes singing this song in duet to. They sang it in Jackie Chang movie festival in 2019 and Jackie was choked in how good they were. Terry was known as an alien before Dimash and they have similar vocals to.

I love Dimash in this. Vitas did a very serious plain performance (lyrics are actually what dark) but Dimash always changes from the original. He did a very cheeky playful version because he new he was going to blow Vitas out of the water. Before going higher each level he did that cheeky pause and grin as if saying “are you ready for more”. I just love it. It is what makes the song.
