Eddie, please show the geometric extraction of a square root of x → √x the method where you "add length of 1" to x, then "half‑ing the whole thing" take that "half" as a radius, build the circle and trace a perp. line from the point where you "added length of 1", thus the length of that perp. line to where it intersects with the arc (of the circle) is exactly √x René Descartes has it in its book on Geometry, but never proved it as a method. To come up with such solution is beyond genius.
