My CLC 200 is a mess. Lots of things failing.
Air con was recharged and seemed to be okay on the day I picked up the car from the mechanic.
After one day the air con failed again.
You may have a refrigerant leak somewhere in the system and soon as the refrigerant level drops to low, the ECU shuts the entire system down. Not certain but u can start by having a refrigerant leak test performed if you didn't have that done already. Good luck... Trying to help my friend who has ac issues intermittently. Sometimes works great other times nothing at all.

i literally tried to erase the codes after i added refrigarent and replaced the evaporator sensor and my obd2 scanner still wont erase the codes
Make sure your scanner has support for the A/C Control Unit. Some scanners only clear codes from the engine control unit but that is not enough for this issue.
