Im a sheet snob and am loving the looks of the Purple brand sheets...i hate crisp sheets and for sure not scratchy sheets and on some of those sheets i can see the weave in the sheet so it will feel rough to me so im going to go investigate the Purple sheets more. Hi there! I’ve watched every review and ready every article you guys have posted regarding the best “cooling” sheets, but I’m just not sure if I’ve found the answer I’m really looking for yet. I’m an EXTREMELY hot sleeper, and I absolutely love sheets that are really cold to the touch and not just “cooling”. In other words, I basically love my sheets to literally feel freezing cold all the time and I love feeling the cold spots in the bed. At the same time, I don’t like thin, crispy sheets. I love heavy, ultra ultra soft, repeatedly washed, super cold feeling sheets. Does that even exist?! I remember my mom having sheets like this on her bed when I was little. Her sheets were insanely soft, thick, and super cold. Is there a brand you can recommend that comes close to all of this?
Have you tried L.L. Bean Precale sheets? They were about $160, very crisp and cool but not good at wicking IMO. Also what about a review on Amazon brand sheets?

My wife and i have a 18 in deep mattress. Also have two medium sized dogs that occasionally sleep on the bed with us. Every bed set we have tried has either ripped, torn, faded or lost its fresh feel. Do you have any recommendations on any sheets that fit that deep of mattress? Please help!

Have your dogs sleep on their own bed, will probably increase longevity of those sheets.
