For those who do not know why there are so many jazz lovers, this is a perfect educational: Great musicians, great music, great interaction, great vibe, great atmosphere, great instruments!
The trumpet guy acts like a biggest fan of patric ever and also a bit drunk lol. Very fun number
Yup.
Bunyuk is always wasted
These guys are always high on jazz - it's like watching pure joy in action and they appreciate each other so much. Glorious!
Benny is full of joy!
Saw this live... the energy was just killing... peak jazz.
I'm so envious! 💚
So lucky!
The whole session is crazy, I love the piano solo so much, amazing rhythm.
Every Patrick solo I listen to reminds me that I need to go back to practising. Insane musicianS
That is IMO the best alto ever made - a Selmer Super Action - ca. 1947-1955.
HE REPOSTED MY REPOST LMAO EMMET THE GOAT
Benny brings so much to this recording, should have been in the title
Thank God that you guys are keeping old swing jazz alive--so fun and refreshing. You don't see musicians having fun like this playing modern jazz!
damn right!
As always, 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Patrick got me checking my playback speed again🙄
Yah same lol
The Alcohol is bad but the music is great
Wow, that drum solo near the end was killin' it ... super-melodic!
Just fabulous.. a rockin tribute for Emmet’s birthday - all solos amazing ❤️🎂😊🎹
Man i had to check i didnt have my speed on 1.25 or 1.5 multiple times through this y'all kilt it
What I like about this is the fun element and the versatility - paying homage to old jazz while being able to switch to contemporary at the drop of a ... mute? :-D
where else can you experience music played with such joy, fun, astounding expertise and musicianship?
the arpegios on sax are really clean and they are connected by really smart chromatic approach notes
Besides one of father B. Goodman's biggest hits in the 1930's ,
also Tommy Cooper's signature-tune, he opened every show with.
Patrick Bartley is the next link.
Awesome!
So killing 🔥
Thank you 😎
Yesss !!!
Great excitement indeed!!
SOOO RIIIIIIGHT!!!!!
What a memorable experience
Masterclass
Greattttttttt
Could you imagine if it was Benny with Patrick on 'After You've Gone' instead of Bruce Harris? THAT wouldve been something.
Way too much fun...count me in!
Happy birthday Gemini!
2:10 insert Tom and jerry scream 😂
Yea, I should hop Amtrak and come up from Philadelphia…
👍
Dixieland or Dixieland Bop comes to… Where are you guys? Looks like upper Manhattan jazz club

A free-for-all where everyone had fun!
How do I look at my left hand less when I stride
Bopers reincarnation ❤❤❤
First!
Lol this is an amazing environment
patrick dude
Benny🙄
I am a trumpet player but I must admit that here the sax is way better
It's sound like early Bird ....and I like it more than the classic bird
I wish the drummer hadn’t gone to the ride so early. Could’ve developed into an even greater solo. But amazing as usual
Can u edit out trumpet guy pls (the yelling, playing is p dece)
I feel like the energy of this performance is half the fun
I just want to taste what he was drinking
He is just having fun on stage, the music is taking over.
Benny’s outbursts are half the FUN and JOY! Totally genuine!!!
Playing as good as he does he can do whatever he wants 🤷♂
Patrick got those coulors flying
