yeah i missed that but retrospectively i would have traversed the whole country and sleep on a train station bench just to see those mofos back each other with RJD2 in the back. Great content man thx for the upppp
I was looking at We the people's Cramp your Style and this came up in the related videos, but this morning I actually was searching up Aesop, so yeah I'd say you're right. Awesome upload btw, I didn't even think this existed. If only they had this on a LTD edition DVD run. I'd pay $50 for dvd copy any day.
I think El-P realized at the last second that it wasn't going to work for live performance. Personally, watching RJ I get the feeling that he didn't have the right vinyl and he told El-P to skip it. It could've also been a last minute stage decision because the lyrics are insanely dense and extremely hard to back up live. There are so many rhythmic switchups... how could anyone even do that live haha
It's a hidden track at the end of Deadringer, "Here's What's Left." Unless you're asking about the sample, which is "Memories Are Here To Stay" by The Intruders.
made me think.of the first time I got to spinn live at this gangster party....that went so wrong....they hated me....but I wasnt about gangster rap....

It really sucks cuz he had all of bazooka tooth out at this point and I think fast cars as well, NY Electric banged and is the best song he performed that night, and I'd of loved to see him perform more of that vibe, El got to rock shit with squeegee man and tuned mass dampener, why not give aes fast cars or bazooka tooth. Also sometimes his adlibs when El is going off kinda hit like cold soup.
This question was answered here many times already. If I had a higher quality version of the video I would have uploaded it. Internet speeds, storage, and media quality was a lot lower in 2003. Feel free to contact Montreaux to obtain a higher quality version from their archives and upload it yourself.
Found my first stop when they finally commercialise time travel.
Underfuckingrated comment
Sounds like an Aesop bar lmao
@@jacobbharrat7115😂😂😂
dope! thanks for the upload!! i really wish el and aesop would work together again. can you imagine an aesop feature on the next rtj record? shewwwww
Best El-P moment was his homage to Phil Hartman as on SNL as Caveman Lawyer!!
Too fucking classic!!❤️❤️
38:00 so good
NICE TO SEE RJ WAS USING VINYL.... THAT'S ALWAYS A 😊😊😊😊😊😊 😊😊😊😊😊
I love that they back each other unselfishly.
damn this is amazing... its a shame that el-p and aesop don't make music together anymore...
That Lucy remix gave me shivers. Oh to have been there before RJD2 left Def Jux. Before Def Jux became no more too.
Man I didn't know Aesop spit it like that live. Crazy
Two of the most/best prolific MC's to ever touch a mic
The majority might be there for Aesop, but I love all 3 of these guys, but have never seen RJ preforming before, so that was a treat.

Thanx for uploading!
Nobody was using HD cameras in 2003 lol stop asking. RJD2 murdered this shit, love how he brought Smoke and Mirrors in.
I appreciate what you said, because it's totally true. His condolence on rhymesayers' website was the most epic of all.

Dude an el-p/aesop rock/rjd2 collab album in the early 2ks would have been absolutely phenomenal. RJ and El are amazing producers.
