    I'm 68 and got a 900 and a 570 for the wife . The falls I used to take when younger I would recover .Tomorrow I'm going in for surgery because of a fall last Nov. on my dirt bike. I want to stay on the trails till I die if possible so I went out and got the aces right away. I got one for the wife because she is scared of the way ride I ride. Anyway I'm still blasting the trails feeling a little safer. If I was younger I'd still buy one.The 900 has more power than I can handle but I like knowing it's there ! Stay young ,,stay out there !

      What's funny is I'm reading this and thinking this guys story is my story so I looked to see who is texting this and it's me 3 yrs. Ago. Anyway I'm 71 now and still blazing the trails with the wife. I love where the Ace takes us !

    I'm 48 and have been riding 3 wheelers, quads, and side x sides since I was 13. I bought one of these last December and have almost 800 miles on it. I absolutely love it. It has 78 Hp and I've had mine up to 72 mph at 6500' altitude on a two track trail. I'm 6' tall, 185 #, with long legs and this thing fits me very well. The only modification so far is a 20" LED light bar. As far as only one seat is I can drive and listen to my music and not have anyone telling me to slow down. Where I ride width is not a problem so the power and suspension are awesome for the price. Only downside so far is Polaris plastic fasteners.

    I have a 2015 Ace 330 and LOVE IT! Going to be getting a 570EPS in the spring as a second buggy (gotta stay 50"). Absolutely love the wheel and cage for the riding I do. Not a big Polaris fan but they hit my heart with this design.

    I bought a brand new 2016 model earlier this year and its lots of fun. Got it for $9000 on factory clearance and within 2 weeks i did an evo stage 3 reflash with pipe and intake and it screams! I wish i had the 2017 or 18 since the suspension and wheel base are far superior but we have a lot of fun with it. My cousin comes over he use to race motocross and he gets crazy on it. He loves it and that says a lot from an experienced rider.

    Another great video, I agree the Ace is cool for that small group of riders you listed, Kids, first timers, etc.. I personally like having a passenger..

    The extra wide stance makes this more attractive than the previous versions. I still am torn by the price; it is so close to the 900 Trail that I can’t commit to getting one. I do plan on transitioning my son from the ACE 150 to the ACE 330, then 500, 570, and 900 as he grows.

    Seen them out on the trails look like a lot of fun. I wonder how tippy they are going through big washouts or climbing on large rocky hills. With a quad you can shift your weight to keep the wheels down this thing looks like the roll cage will be put to use often

      My wife has a 2014 Ace, with the 330cc motor in it. It's much narrower then this and it does really well climbing hills and rock crawling, the centre of gravity is very low.

    I'm so stoked that you guys got your hands on one of these!! I could really use your opinion, I've been scouring the forums without much luck.. i've been plowing snow the last couple years with a grizzly 700, and although it does the job quite well 90% of the time, up here in New England we still often get snow a foot to 2 feet deep that is wet and heavy and even the grizzly struggles with it.. I have really been considering trading it up for an ace 900 XC with a plow set up. You guys have reviewed and used the grizzly 700, and now you've had experience with that ace 900 XC, so I can't tell you how valuable your opinion would be to me on this issue.. I really have no other specific need for the grizzly other than plowing my 600 foot long driveway. I occasionally use it for some light duties around the yard and have used it to drag logs out of the woods, but I don't doubt that this ace could perform those duties just as well if not better, especially the plowing the snow which is what I really need it for!! Please, please, please, give me your input on this!!!!

    • @Mihebert
      @Mihebert 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just get a set of Camso T4S tracks for the Grizzly and you're all set. It will literally be a tank. You would need a push tube extension for the plow but it's worth it.

    Just bought my 2017 ace 900xc about a month ago after trading in my 2011 900xp. Besides the power it was easy to adjust to. This thing freaking scoots! Really easy to drive especially coming from a rig with no power steering. I talked a lot of smack about the tires before I bought this ace. These tires have fully won me over. Great in all conditions. Cab is nice and roomy although I wish I had a little bit better storage space. Front cargo area is tough to fit my "water" jug that is too big to fit in the stock cupholder. Really wish the in cab storage bins had a lid or a way to be closed. first puddle or dust you encounter those bins get hosed. I also don't like that I have to remove the whole front storage bin to gain access to my brake and steering fluid and coolant reservoir.The rear cargo area could stand to have some good tie down points like my old 900xp. Overall I do love this rig, but this is my only real complaint. The clutching. I get a strange hesitation at the engagement rpm if I accelerate very slowly. Doesn't do it at any other rpm. Does it in forward or reverse. I have been told that it is normal and not to worry about it but I will likely purchase the roller kit for my secondary and look into a spring and weight kit for the primary. May even go as far as having the clutches professionally tuned.

    • @nickowen8182
      @nickowen8182 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      wow. forgot I commented on here years ago. 2 years in my ace and I have done tons of mods. 3p primary clutch, EPI spring in the secondary clutch, upgraded shock springs and helper spring delete, modified a 570 bumper to fit, custom cup holder, half windshield, canvas roof, custom stereo, LED whip, custom snorkel for engine and clutch box, trinity fuel mapper, secondary battery, 30" mudlite XXLs on 14" ITP dual beadlocks, custom headlight brackets, rear view mirror, GGB exhaust. I still love my ace and I rip on her pretty hard. got used to the storage and made it work for me. its a damn shame that polaris canned the whole ace line.

    The only gripe I ever had about the Ace is the shape of the cage though I know that's probably to accommodate taller riders (I'm short so headroom isn't as much of an issue) but I can appreciate the easy in/out design being a 37 year old former Diesel mechanic who's body has taken a beating over the years. I'd buy one. Also you may need a better microphone for this type of video... I can barely hear you

    Ok, so I rode a an 84 Honda Big Red Trike for many years, then a 97 Suzuki 300 King Quad for a couple of decades and change. Now due to Diabetes I'm missing my lower right leg and need something to haul me and my gear (Rifle and Bow hunting, Tent, Food, Blind, Stand etc.) out to hunting camp. Mostly muskeg, nasty willow swamps and flooded trails. I'll be pulling a tub trailer as well. For the rest of the year, I'll ride it on trails, out to the lake, push snow in winter, take it ice fishing etc. It won't be a shop Queen. Has anyone thrown a set of tracks on the 570 or 900? How well do they tow a loaded trailer? I think size-wise this is a great option and if the low range can handle hunting conditions and snow duties, this might be a very good contender. Can anyone give me some reviews for the situations I've put out? Otherwise I'm looking at a big bore quad like the new Argo, or Suzuki, maybe even a Sherp if I can convince my other compadres to go in so we'd all own a 5th of it and then just run our old machines for other stuff. Let me know Interweb Gurus!!

    I think it would be nice sometimes but I don't like that you're so limited on how many people can ride with you. It's pretty cool but not practical for many. What it needs the most is an ace killer from can am

  • @blackmeinu1

    I think this thing would be awesome. The problem I have is aesthetics. I don't like the look of this rollcage. To narrow. And I wish the front hood was more like the razor's hood. Besides that, it seems like a lot of fun by yourself. Which is my kind of fun.

      It's 59 according to the specs. It's also like $3,500 cheaper than a rzr s 900. The best comparison in price is the regular "50" inch rzr 900. But it doesn't come with the walker shocks nor the better dirt commander tires. It's all personal preference
