The second fancy handle was even cooler than the first.
I really enjoyed this video. Love the narration! I learned a lot watching this, and your resiliency is admirable. Awesome finished product! Cheers
You like challenges and I LOVE your videos, as a disabled Army Veteran, I would like to see you make a 40lb Patriotic bow anyone would be proud to have
what does patriotic mean lmao
Kramer I do think that you are doing great and that is a very nice looking and shooting bow keep it up my friend,
Take care and God bless.
Love your dedication!! I am building a hickory self bow I just cut the nocks and will start tillering. Thanks for the inspiration and great videos!
Love the kind of storry telling!
Maybe the best bowyer video series ive watched by now ❤
Beautifully done 👍
Proud of myself that I'm inspired by you
You must tell us the thicknesses of your laminations !!, %$%&$#@ Finally !! I waited and waited for this a whole week ,, WOW I am really impressed, you just proved that recurves are not the fastest bows. Or should we say: Parabolic recurves are not as fast as circular recurves ??? Congratulations, very fast shooting bow, deserves a nicer looking riser. It's also cool your guardian angel narrating the video.
That’s a beauty! Who says you can’t have it all?
Thank you Bowbi Wan-Bownobi. I have patience and enjoyed the whole video.
Excelent story telling Kramer ! another great video
Gorgeous bow, the detailing on the riser really makes it; I'm glad you stuck with it.
You are killing it
Hi Kramer , my machinist brother in law made me a drill jig for both riser and limbs, removable drill guides for pin holes and limb screw insert . The jig is the bomb , perfect alignment with little effort. I would share the design if you like !
i'd love to make my own bow sometime , you strive for perfection , so that journey also brings sadness , but we learn from those moments eventually , awesome bow mr
Looks a little bit like an Assyrian design bow. Nice video. Always happy to see your ideas!
The conflicting thoughts and motivations are omni-present, love the dialog working through it all, and every build is enjoyable to see. Thank you!
Nice looking bow I hope you are making them to sell cause I’d buy one for sure
i wish i could buy one of your bows
Love your vids and the way you work! When will you have more bows for sale? Really want one
That is a beautiful bow!
I wouldn't beat yourself up. You and I both have broken too many bows before.
This one sounds excellent. Looks a bit funny. Laminate are really tough. That's why I won't. I'll stick with self bows from a carefully selected stave and slowly seasoned.
Keep going with all your fancy equipment and workshop. At least one of us has it.
It kinda looks like an Egyptian bow.
Always a treat to see a video from you Krammer. If your reading this and you have a bow that does not have a string from Krammer then you are missing out.
Love your videos, followed all your videos on string building and love your wax. Never stop, you guys are awesome
Video ideas:
Extra large recurve, like what if you made your design but at 70inch?
I have 2 bear grizzlies from around 1972, What is different about “recurve” designs compared to reflex/deflex bows like you make? And why
Can you make ILF limbs? I would totally love some ILF limbs. Can you make a “bones bow ILF”?
Lesson I learned years ago faster work leads to more screwups. Now, to get your fancy look to the handle, stabilize the single piece riser in the design you like then inlay the wood patterns you like on the sides. It would take more time but you'd get the look you wanted. You might even get ambitious and use precut gemstone in the inlays. Things like turquoise, mother of pearl, black onyx, buffalo horn and he like. I used to work in a knife store and I saw a $56.00 Buck knife become a $350.00 David Yellow Horse Buck Knife due to his handle inlays.
someone get this man a ambitious fletcher. love the video
How heavy was the arrow? I’m curious how your bow compares with my recent changes to my hunting setup (which is apples and oranges as I’m shooting a compound, I know). I’m drawing just a hair under 60lbs shooting a 450 grain arrow at 250 fps (which is like winning the lottery at round numbers). At some point I’d love to put a decibel meter on it and see how quiet it is (especially with the heavier arrows vs the lighter ones I was shooting before).
One thing I think no one has done yet is talked about how momentum pairs with mechanical advantage created by a broadhead to create penetration. Much like how your limbs pair with your riser to create your performance, I think people neglect how the arrow pairs with the point to create penetrative performance.
Hey I’m building laminated bow was wondering your recipe for those 50 pound limbs I’m shooting for somewhere between 55-65 looking for a starting point if you get time thanks
I've been buying bowstrings from Shatterproof for awhile now. Customer service is excellent. I've screwed up had to cut a string and he still replaced it for me. And I didn't even ask him to. I would have been more than happy to pay for the extra one.
That is nice! However, it would have to be really special for it to replace my walnut Bones. I freaking LOVE that bow.
If i may make a suggestion for template material so those little mistakes dont happen as often. Have some stock of 1/4" lexan or plexiglass so you can see through them and you have a better edge to mark out. mark your witness marks on your bow material and line it up with a scribe mark on the template.
awesome vid. It's inspiring me to go and work on fixing the riser I made . Get it right. My skill set is much lower and my tool set is even lower. I have to level out my limb pockets cause they are causing a twist. Due to some wrist injuries I put a much higher grip on than other risers , something that will put the contact point into my palm without pushing my palm forward. though I am loving the design of your new bow. Am looking forward to seeing if it becomes part of your production line.
Just awesome! Good job.
Under 60 inch . I had a bearpaw it had a lovely action wish I hadn’t sold it . I’ve tried a few others similar but the release was horrible felt cheap and twangy . Another bearpaw maybe my answer but I would prefer a takedown for , pack and travel
Can you make a detailed video about making laminate bows? Such as, forms, how to make fiberglass, etc.
Bro, if you really want to maximize the time you have respect it by getting a riving knife and guard for the table-saw. Please!
Hey. You made an egyptian/Angular bow. These are known to be the fastest bows and in this series you've proven why.
Giving up smoothness at approximately 50 lbs what would be the fastest Bow ??
Nice but give the limb mir bent... Redo the Riser... The FF sting give you 5-7fps more
Great design! I like the shape of the deflex handle. I have de laminated samick sage risers and my Bearpaw mohawk first generation de laminated in the maple and mycarta strip in the riser. I have not seen a diamond wood riser break yet. Great video!!!!!
Hey ambitious videomaker, what a great final video to an interesting and entertaining series! I enjoyed watching and learned a lot. Thanks for sharing!
Hola soy andres desde argentina soy carpinteto y arquero gracias por tus videos sin geniales, voy a fabricar un arco igual abrazo grande!!!!
Well, I'm happy and sad for you. But what a great, handy bow! Pretty, too.
Great Video and project Kramer. Can you tell us the arrow weight and draw length you used for your speed measurements
Hitting 200fps is impressive, but what's the arrow weight?
Great video. I love the look and desprately want a bow but then reality sets in and i realise its not possibe yet so im going back to axe throwing
Awesome job, great content. Keep chasing what you love.
Many adjectives to describe the beauty of this and many of the bows you make.
Though this one...
WELL..
VERY IMPRESSIVE
What kind of glue are you using specifically 😅😅😅
200 means nothing without telling us the arrow weight v poundage
At 11:17 it looks like the limb at riser mounting is 6 Millimeters, middle point is 4 millimeters,, tip point is 5 millimeters.
Very beautiful! Curious what your arrow weight might be?
You know, Red,White and Blue, with stars
Paint some stripes on your plain riser. Problem solved.😂
Keep it going. 😂 How many bows did you make this week.
Did you get a chance to review that ...
Other design ?
%$%&$#@ Finally !!
Hey Kramer. I'm so happy for you that your business has grown the way it has. I appreciate your whole approach, man. I hope the growth is even more satisfying for you to experience as it is for me to watch! I have an idea for a video. You probably get this all the time?? Would you review other people's bows that were only made because or your channel? I have an Ipe/bamboo bow that I made during the pandemic for my wife (we were dating at the time). Because of you, I re-fell in love with shooting. I grew up shooting my dad's Jenning's Starlight 60# with pins, but completely fell for intuitive shooting. The bow is what it is, but it led to a marriage and it even inspired my neighbor's 14yo to take up archery! You are spreading good in the world. These stories should be told! If you want, I'll ship it to you, I can tell you the whole story of this bow, that you are a part of.
Regardless, wherever you are. I really do appreciate you. You're a good soul.
Really great work . I would love to see a takedown recurve .
This bowyer refers to himself in the third person.
Just looked at the viewcount on this video and was stunned; you are criminally under viewed! Thank you for taking us along on this journey. I really enjoyed seeing the bow come together (though I admit I started watching the Mountain Bow saga only partway through) and the third-person omniscient narrator in this video was a fun touch! Really glad to see you like the final product; it is truly a work of art.
Good ol' Egyptain Design hmmm
Functional first, pretty second.
It seems as though the wood always has the final say
Great looking bow and I love your videos and content...Keep on keeping on Kramer!!!
15:03
But at this point you have what you set out for.
Working limbs for this riser design.
That you can make a different riser for.
The limbs are almost the harder part with all the theory and design that goes into your glue up, before a tiller ...
The cinematography. The commentary. The creative process. 10/10
Love the Van Niestat homage lool
I want this bow!!!! Take my money!
I want to make my own bow. Im dreaming of it.
Looks amazing! Well done!
Wow, that is beautiful. I want one please. I'll pay you Tuesday for a mountain bow today
Glue sinew on the front of the handle.
This is food for thought. Thank you.
whats the arrow weight for the speed test ?
great video and sick bow
Slow is smooth and smooth is fast
...when can i get one sent to the UK?! :D
Make the riser 16"
The design is beautiful
You vids are getting are the best, well done brother, and your bows are looking better as well
Great looking bow!
That final riser is the one - it looks classy! 👌🏼👏🏼👏🏼
On the delaminated riser can it be pined with hard hood dowels or cookies ?
👍
Incredible speed for a forty tel pound bow!
Great video
Gorgeous.

Nice
Can you bulid limbs for a riser i have?
He has not come to his senses yet. hahahaha ! Great vid man.
Make it shorter

80th time's the charm.
