There are several videos about this pattern but this video was the easiest for me to follow and your voice helped a lot! your voice sounds so patient, so calm! I just finished my first sunflower granny square! Thank you so much!
You're such a gem, Miss ma'am! Thank you for the gentle and calming tutorial of yours! It was so easy to follow and it came out gorgeous. Thank you so much!
I love this tutorial you explain it so well and at such a relaxing pace where im not anxious to keep up. I love the way you connect the yarn and how you pick any stitch so the ties dont bunch up thank you for this flower this is exactly what i was looking for
These sunflowers are beautiful and thank you for the vid. If I could make a small suggestion, when you get ready to pull the loop through for your slip stitch, pull the new color through. This makes for a cleaner project without knots. Continue with your new color and weave in ends of both colors. Repeat for each new color.
I have been wanting to try this desgin for a while and this is the first video I was able to follow along on my own 🥰🥰🥰 you instructions are perfect. Do you have any videos for making stuff animals?
Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked the video. I do make some amigurumi, I haven't yet uploaded a video for it, but I that would be a great tutorial. 👌☺
I used a yarn needle or tapestry needle and I continue to go around the middle under the stitches, I will go around for about three more times then I will pull the string to make sure it's tight and then cut the excess. Hope this helps! ☺ Thanks for watching 🥰
at the last yellow petal, do you still put the 2 chains in before you slip stitch to the first petal? you didn't mention that, and I couldn't tell (?) it looks like you just connected the two petals together without the 2 chains between. (?) I just want to be sure I'm getting the correct number of stitches in there :) Thanks!
@@sabaghandi7454 Going up a size is a possibility, just ensure your gauge is still correct. You can also block your squares when you are done with them. I am a tight crocheter too and blocking my squares/projects works well for me.
Hii this was one of the easiest tutorial for the sunflower. I just need to ask. How can u make the square bigger when u have smaller yarn? Do you add more petals? I just need to know bcos im trying to do it but its too small for a bag. Thxx

Thank you for this video
This was super helpful! How did you weave in the middle brown end which you used to tighten the middle?

Hi thanks for the tutorial! My petals curl up before I do the border. Is this a problem and how can I fix it? :)
I have the same problem because I’m a “tight” crocheter….if you are too…You might want to go up a hook size
@@anandersonnovel Thanks for the tip I struggle with making my work too tight, this really helped!

Where to put my 16th brown almond leaf? There are only 15 stitches..
Make sure to put 16 double crochet after you do the magic ring. The chain of three acts as one double crochet. I hope this helps 💕
Instead of starting it with a chain at 5 could you do a magic circle instead
Definitely! 👍🥰
Hi! I’m having trouble deciding on how much yarn balls to get for each colour for a sunflower afghan? ( beginner) thanks in advanced!

I’ve seen some doubled the yarn and use bigger hook. Give it a try maybe it works with your yarn.
@@gallus15 okay i'll definitely try!
😍😭
Thank you! 😊
Size of the square?
The sqare is a little less than 5 inches, or about 12cm
Do you weave in your ends or just crochet over them?
When showing the materials she said to use a needle to weave the ends in, so I guess that's what she'll do. 🥰
You sounds like Megan markel.
Thank you i got it 🫶🏻
Thank you so much. That was very helpful ❤️❤️
