Id say one of the most painful deaths is Hisashi Ouchi he was working in a nuclear reactor. The workers had not much previous experience with radiation unknowingly when playing with radiation they had caused a criticality accident. This is from a release of radiation from a nuclear chain reaction. He was the closest when this happened and got hit the most radiation anyone has been exposed to. He survived for 83 days by far the worst part is that his body was decomposing while he was still alive. He could feel every single intestine failing on him slowly he lost his voice and much more. It got so bad that the hospital decided to kill Hisashi as the pain was practically toture to him. May he RIP. (If you want a long explanation on this entire incident you should watch the video by wendigoon about it.)

Loretta, a married grandmother was home alone meanwhile her husband took her grandkids to the ball game. She smelt smoke in the kitchen to then she called 911, and the dispatcher comforting Loretta by telling her dispatchers were on there way. But they were already at the home. The house was in the woods, so access to the nearest fire hydrant was down the street, instead of filling the reserves of the fire truck with the water from the hydrant down the way, the head firefighter records the fire on his Snapchat. Under further investigation, it was found many of the cities fires were recorded by the firefighter on his Snapchat. He was fired and is under investigation, the family of Loretta received a $250,000 settlement.

Honesty the photo shouldn’t be TOS or censored on TH-cam, because it’s a HUGE part of history that has been taught in many classes, including my own. Although I do not agree with showing gore, the photo of him burning is taken at a time before he starts melting. It sucks he couldn’t show it as it’s an important part of history, I wish we could start showing actual pictures of historic events again, such as wars and more, as those, as sick as they are, need to be heard.

Loretta was burned alive because the chief firefighter on scene was taking pictures of the burning house for his Snapchat, most likely none the wiser that someone was still inside. He is solely to blame for her death, as rescuers were on scene several minutes before she was actually engulfed in flames.
Fortunately, that damned idiot has to live with his mistake for the rest of his miserable life.

For the loretta case, firefighters we’re in the yard and posting it to Snapchat, the command chief was holding the firefighters back, the dispatcher had told the firefighters everything. The chief held the firefighters back bc there was a forest fire behind the building which subjected them from doing anything even tho they could’ve, they were clout chasing instead of helping. There was a whole investigation happening.

Hisashi Ouchi went through 17 SV (sieverts) for 83 whole days.
During those days, his skin started to melt off or fall off from the slightest touch. He had internal bleeds that couldnt be stopped cause if the doctors tried it would most likely get worse. And more.

I feel like the "gunshot to the head is painless" is a bit of a lie, perhaps from seeing it depicted that way in movies. It depends on what part of the brain is damaged. People survive small caliber gunshot wounds to the head more often than you'd expect. Also, consider lobotomies, where parts of the brain are destroyed or removed, but the person is left alive. It's a pretty amazing organ.

For someone who has almost drowned (I passed out underwater due to being tangled on a log by my shirt while kids at camp kept spinning it) drowning what people think. I remember the panic for about a minute feeling a bit of pain then feeling fuzzy still trying to get off the log but I felt lightheaded kinda like I wasn’t in my body then felt like I was falling deeply asleep not really pain just like a heavy feeling. Obv not all circumstances are the same but I thought it would be interesting to tell in case people are interested lol 😂

If your body made direct contact with molten lava, your blood would immediately evaporate and any pain receptors would be completely and totally annihilated. You would feel absolutely nothing, it’d be lights out immediately.
I recently learned about the Sampoong Department Store in South Korea that collapsed a while back because the ceo or whatever wanted to save money by decreasing structural safety AND even added a 5th floor for aesthetics and to make more money (he was warned that the building couldn't hold a 5th floor). Basically, yeah it collapsed and like hundreds of people died. Many of them were still alive several days after and were sandwiched between concrete but still breathing. They either died from lack of oxygen, or the lack of water/food. But I think to be alive, and to know that you will die and that no one can save you is the worst way to die.

I think hisashi ouchi had the worst death of all time, he lost all his skin, had massive blisters all over his body, his organs were rotting while he was alive, couldn't breathe on his own, and was kept alive and conscious in that state for 83 days.
It’s sad to say but for the Loretta story(the old lady that got burned alive) they were actually outside fighting the fire from the outside instead of trying to get inside. They were there while she was dying.

@@SkieHie-yf5yk Not accurate. There's a lot of rumors that say the doctors were evil and stuff. The family wanted Hisashi to live and Hisashi continued as long as he could. Past a certain point there was no way of him communicating that he wanted to die, so you can't blame anyone in that situation.

My dad responded to a call(paramedic).this guy had drunk oven cleaner,in the process if trying to take his own life,he was melted slowly from the inside,his stomach and throat absorbing most of the pain,my dad said that in his opinion it's the worst call he's ever had(paramedic for about 11 year)

Story Time- at my old job, one of our regular customers came in. He told us about his trip he took to the hot springs. He told us something pretty chilling that their tour guide warned them of. He told them how common it was for people and animals to just fall in the springs, and when they do, there's not much anyone can do. He said the tour guide used the words "people soup"🤢 .Some people actually brought/bring their pets (absolutely dangerous and idiotic imo) to which The guide warned them that if their pets happen to fall in, to just let them go. It's too dangerous to try and help because they could fall in as well.

In 2011 tunisia there was a civilian who burned himself alive in downtown tunis because he suffered from the corruption of the police and the whole regime at that time, it was that single sacrifice that started a whole revolution in the country which led to the people overthrowing the government and exiling the president and then moved on to form a new democracy which they still live with today all because of one man’s suffering.
I feel like a good contender for a somewhat top spot goes to Sean Doyle, he and his drunk friend got in a fight wherein he ended up getting pushed down a manhole and steamed /boiled alive. it took 4 hours(bc to hot) until they recovered his gooey corpse turns out while he was still alive/ conscious rescuers could hear him screaming in agony happened in NYC btw 👍
