I want to know ram16is enough fo play LMU? I see a lots of clip recommend i need to have ram 32Gb for playing LMU . My spec is R5 5600 Ram16Gb Rtx3060 i Used my M.2 Ssd to install LMU
Michi, you missed out the sound samples. For people with older CPUs you can take some load off the CPU by lowering the number of samples. I run 180, it sounds fine anything more and it struggles. (I7-7700K )

I was getting 35 to 40 fps around traffic and pit area to around 90 fps max when few cars were near. Now after your graphics suggestion I'm getting minimum 80 to max 120 fps. Even in heavy rain races. Much appreciated. 👍
Hello! My setup: I7 10700K/32Gb Ram/RTX 3070 Ti and the game is on M2 SSD. Full HD monitor. Everything is on ultra. My problem is that when I'm alone on the track I have 144 fps but in race when all classes are on the track I have 20 fps and the ram usage is extreme. It uses all the 32 GB ram.
yeah so the ultra settings are more meant to be for Screenshots or sole driving indeed. The models of all cars are really high resoltuion and hard on the hardware. For racing comfortably in bigger splits I advise to apply my settings here. On Ultra also my machine which has a bit better equipment is struggling. Also make sure to limit number of soundeffects to 64. that helps as well.

@@95mcqeen I think it's the geometry of the picture. I also have 21:9 and can't get far enough forward, just as you. I think Michi's screen is even wider and with his aspect ratio, the sitting position seems to be further forward because the wider picture "misses" more content at the top and bottom (dashboard).

I see you're running the game at 1080p. Is that the native resolution for your 49 inch monitor or is it 1440p? If the native resolution of the monitor is 1440p, how does the game look on it at 1080p? Isn't it excessively blurry?

Try anthrostrophic filter on x16 (its not heavy on the GPU) and the MSAA on x4 and maybe enable FSAA on top of that, I dont know. To me it felt that everything in the distance indeed looks a bit grainy.

Maybe you will somehow get the game to start on your system, but you really won't get to any reasonable racing with internal graphics and 512mb of shared graphic memory mate. With a full grid on Le Mans the 16gb of my 4080 are used by 98% and my 32gb of ram are used by around 90%. Ok, everything on ultra besides the shadow and reflection thingys... With 512mb you won't be able to load a single practice session even with lowest graphic settings i think...
Thanks though my game runs @35FPS max. at the start of a rolling race, even with your settings and even though I'm on a 5900X/32GB RAM/3070/Game on SSD... Optimisation is a big problem, especially in a sim focused on endurance racing, which will have huge grids.
yeah in your case try running the medium settings on the texture details and so on. I know the game will not look great but it will give you better fps. Also turn down the MSAA to 2x as well.
Not for nothing, I have a 13900k and 4090. I can run max settings with well over 120 fps on triple 1440p. This game is actually very well optimized. Surprised you have to lower your settings with a 3080.
Might be down to me streaming from the same machine. Although you obviously have a killer setup right there! Awesome hardware and sure you have an amazing experience with those.
Am i the only one with no problems? I have a Ryzen7 3800XT/32gb RAM/ RX6700XT. I had everything on max settings full hd and i am getting solid 60fps (some ocasional stuttering, devs say is normal at this point) . the only thing i had different was the number of cars on screen down to 12.
I think 60 FPS is not much in comparison to what most others are running. in Simracing it feels like 144hz monitors are meta in the meanwhile. That way your PC has "easier" life delivering the pictures. Generally speaking it looks to be a bit lets say random as in who has issues and also what kind of issues. e.g. for me the menu has only been laggy or slow once or twice. But otherwise really fine... wee need to keep logging and looking and reporting - it will all be fixed at some point im sure!
@@MichiHoyer Well actually i got it limited to 60 fps even tough my gaming monitor is a 144hz BenQ. Only thing that bothers me is how aggressive the AI is, specially when when overtaking slower classes, even when a lower AI aggr. is set.

@@MichiHoyer Hello again, thanks for responding! I have it on 1920x1080 and when I load AI into the game it lags like crazy (around 10 fps). The sound settings, that with the number of effects did help and I can do races with the same class without lag but when I add 2/3 different classes to the race then it starts to lag like crazy and its not playable. I guess it's the games problem and I have to wait till they fix it, because the game loads everything right when you join a race and not when you get near something like other games. If you know a way how to fix it, that would be great! Thanks

I think you should be just fine with that. Lowest recommendation should be 16GB RAM. Give it a try. Within first 2h you can still refund the game :)

You are right - I completely messed it up! Turn it down to 64 number of effects even. You get good enough of sound for even better gaming perfromance

Versuche zunächst mal eine Game file verification über steam, bei was genau stürtzt dein Spiel denn genau ab? Also in welcher Situation.

Yeah I have a GTX 3080 and it is already maxed out. So I am afraid there is no chance for you to get this going comfortably for you.
I try to drive the car and it just dies, I can't play, all the cars are like this, do you know how to request it?
What do you mean it just dies? Make sure you have Autoclutch enabled!

Ingame FPS gauge is not working at all regardless of the key binding... funnily enough CPU/GPU gauge (STRG+C) does work...

Its at 4 - you see a difference on 8 but to me the 8 will just consume too much resources.

May be the case that during all the updates along the way in the game, settings in the 2nd area have vanished and are now fixed for everyone.
