Yes, one of his miracles. And more than that. Only the first 8 bars are by Mozart, and 2 bars of orchestration. The rest of this piece of eternal beauty is by the totally unknown composer Süssmayr, written many weeks after the death of Mozart on the request of his widow.
If God was a music, certainly He would be Requiem, by Mozart.

Très belle interprétation, merci ! Je ne suis pas d'accord avec les commentaires ci-dessous qui disent que le tempo est trop rapide et qu'on entend trop les violons... et surtout quand ils se réfèrent à l'interprétation de Carl Bohm !!! Raz-le-bol de cette soupe romantique dans laquelle les chanteurs s'égosillent et chevrotent à pleins poumons, sans s'écouter les uns les autres. La partie de violon du Lacrimosa est sublime, ce sont des pleurs, c'est à la fois intime (pas pour un orchestre philarmonico-symphonique) et d'une grande intensité dramatique (très bien rendue par la dynamique du jeu "baroque"). Il y a de grandes chances pour que ces pièces aient été interprétées à l'époque de Mozart par des ensembles de cette taille. C'est Mozart... Pas Mahler !

Quand je la joue au piano, c'est ce tempo qui sort tout seul, même si j'essaye de ralentir pour que ce soit plus romantique comme vous dîtes .
Mais je crois que ce tempo la est le plus juste et le plus spontané

Technically, this piece is not from Mozart. The "Lacrrimosa" part of the requiem was not written by him. Mozart died before finishing his Requiem, and it was completed by other musicians after his death.
@@daedalron mozart made only a part of the lacrimosa and it was his last work. The rest of the piece as well as the remaining pieces in the requiem were composed by his best student at the persistent request of mozart's wife.

Une des plus belles pages de musique jamais écrite ! Musicien de la joie, Mozart a miraculeusement exprimé l'essence divine du chagrin, la beauté surhumaine des larmes sincères versées par un coeur aimant.
Cette partie du Requiem n'est pas de Mozart, il est mort avant de finir son oeuvre, et ce sont deux autres musiciens qui ont complété l'oeuvre, dont "Lacrimosa"

Я уж думал один тут из России... :)) Моцарт - это да... А впечатление после большого оркестра и хора слабоватое... Не знаю, в чьем исполнении у меня дома записан "Реквием", но там до слез и боли сердечной...
Мне очень нравится в этом исполнении, что слышен каждый голос (голос в смысле музыки), и исполнители не прячутся таким образом друг за друга, как очень часто в больших оркестрах, что создаёт невнятный шум, а не музыку; а здесь мы имеем ясное исполнение. Очень хорошо.
Такое исполнение называется - не стройным. Когда каждый выпячивает свою партию и нет сыгранности, коллективного творчества

Violin sound is apart choir voice in this performance - this`s is my opinion. It sounds as if they`re playing each one the other theme. So, it comes over one great mystifcicatiion Mozart`s skill and art!
I agree... The first violin needs to chill and the soprano needs to diva-up for the right balance. However, beautiful performance, after all.

something really bother me about this version, maybe there's a violin too laud compared to the singers, but something's definitely not right here.

well, first of all there are no, timbals winds or anything like that. it would have helped a bit to have at least an oboe. Besides that, it seems to me that the violin sounds too "metallic" it almost sounds like an electric violin and sometimes the violinist plays out of tune
Right, the tempo isn’t supposed to be too slow and linear. Nobody directing and not high enough musicianship might the cause.

Because it's played faster than what Mozart intended. Mozart wanted this song to be a mourning song. So it much be slow, not fast.

I agree. 0,75 speed setting repaires the violins and makes the mood dark, but alas, it worsens some of the singing.
Sounds a lot like Requiem Aranea from Hunter X Hunter, I guess they were inspired by this piece of Mozart, just like they were inspired by Vivaldi for Shaiapouf's violin (In the Palace Lamentoso and Agitato). That's really cool
