I absolutely love mine it’s worth the money. I’m running a bare bottom reef on the nano max G2 and it’s absolutely a work horse. Only con is it doesn’t run on the reef beat app . I wish it did it would have been a 10/10 if it did . I give it a 7/10
Yeah, not basing my export methods around expensive consumables. Filter socks changed out as regularly as I can otherwise just let it all rot and use the huge refugium I'd normally have regardless.
I set it up here in the Max Nano XL, and it is dead silent in terms of water noise. Literally none! The motor makes a typical motor sound when it kicks on, but it's brief and infrequent.
@@ThomasBReef Sounds promising. Have my tank near the bedroom and my girlfriend can hear a mouse fart one town away so noisy aquarium equipment means lots of nagging. Fed up with filter socks so think this will be the next equipment buy👍
Unfortunately, The NanoMat is too large to fit that particular tank. That being said, IM does make a manual fleece roller that do fit the dimensions of their tanks!
Is there any way you can cut out the roud hole of the sock filter in the NANO MAX G1 to put it in? so can you use it somehow on the first version of the NANO MAX? Anyone did it and how did you do it? Thank you for the replies.
Looks like with the increased water cleanliness you are getting excellent coloration/growth in your aquarium behind you. Keep up the good work!
It's crazy what proper mechanical filtration will do for a reef tank! ;)
Would it fit into an innovative marine nuvo fusion 25 gal. Lagoon?
Do you need PCB or PCB assembly service?
I'm 4 days into using this in place of filter sock and floss in my Red Sea Reefer 170. From what I can see this Roll is going to last me forever.

@@dbkarmann1 at first I did have a issue with it until I flipped the level sensor and it works flawlessly now.
@@Pagodacoralsllc yeah i thought maybe that was it with mine but it has grooves and wont go in upside down on mine.
@@dbkarmann1 I would contact support they have good customer service
The Reef Beat app would be a nice addition!
Replacement after 2 to 4 weeks??? I'll just stick to my old dirty sock :) !

Cool . 😊
How quiet is it? Is there any water noise in it?
No noise, it only turns on when it's dirty which is prob every 2 days in my case

Does this work in a IM 20l fusion?

Any 3d printers on here that could make a custom gasket
