    Do you want me to share your story? Kindly email it to me at rgirlsubmissions@gmail.com and if I like your story I'll feature it on my channel! :)
    So it was just me and my mom when I was growing up. My parents got a divorce when I was 8 and I was left to live with my mom. At the time Inwas too small to understand what's right or wrong and as long as my mum made me happy once in a day I was satisfied. Although I talked to dad over the phone once or twice a month, we didn't really meet that much. He rarely had any time for me and he made sure to send more than enough money every month to deal with the guilt of abandoning a child.

    Cat story. I was out and about and just walking alongside a local river, when I heard a kitten mewing. I found her on the riverbank, all tangled in fishing line. I cut her free, and she decided she was my new owner. I had never had a cat before, so I had to do some intensive Googling to find out how to look after one. Five years later and I still love the way she just comes up to me and flops across my legs for a belly rub and chin scratches. She also has one of the scariest Cat Death Stares ever!

    Story one: OF COURSE all your estranged mother wants is money! She contacted your grandmother and asked what she was getting from your grandfather's estate before it even occurred to her to try to see you. Money always brings the cockroaches out of the woodwork.

  • @stoopingfalcon891
    @stoopingfalcon891 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    First story. At least the dad cared enough to pay for her tuition et al, even if he didn't want to be involved in her life. The mother? Yeah quite a piece of work.

  • @shells500tutubo
    @shells500tutubo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +41

    Story 1- As it is right now, the mother is the legal next of kin. 😦OP really needs to see an estate lawyer ASAP to make sure no matter what happens to her that the mother can never inherit anything. She also needs to make sure that her medical power of attorney is her grandmother and then two other trusted people, and put down that her mother will NEVER be POA. It goes almost without saying that her credit AND grandma's credit needs to be secured.

    • @conjumonblue6450
      @conjumonblue6450 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Grandpa left a will so the courts should follow the will. OP does need a lawyer though. Some people think lawyers are expensive, but it can be more expensive to not have one when legal stuff goes down.

    Story 1: Seriously, get the stay away order; however, realize that it’s just a piece of paper and if someone wishes you harm it doesn’t make much of a shield, so take proper precautions. A stay-away order is only useful after the fact. If someone wishes you harm “after the fact” doesn’t provide much protection.

    Last story- all the commenters area focused on the guy being racist. The rest of his personality is far more concerning. His tone deaf questioning, his lying, him interrogating her as if she is less than human. He seems like one of those guys who ends up on the evening news and the mother is all pikachu face, "I didn't know he thought or did those things".

    Story 1, of course the egg donor is going to NOW contact op because she finds out that she's not going to get anything from her dad. Thank God op had someone taking care of her, her friends parents were probably horrified by how she was being treated. The grandparents probably wonder where they went wrong with their daughter for her to treat her own daughter the way she did. Yeah, the fact that the egg donner now is contacting op is a red flag, the witch was up to something. She was only after her inheritance. But not surprising that she didn't get anything, as if just trying to "bond" with op before grandpa passes away is going to get her anything. She can pissed all she wants, she made her bed now she gets to lie in it. Good for op that she knew what the egg donner was after or giving anything to her. Hell no, don't give the egg donner a chance or anything. Op, your not being harsh at all. The b*tch decided that she didn't want to be family so now she can deal with the aftermath of that. Definitely get a restraining order against her, she's going to refuse to stop harassing you op. I hope op gets the restraining order against the egg donor.

  • @amerlin388
    @amerlin388 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Story 1. OP should probably get a will and inform mother that she is explicitly excluded from any inheritance. No need to tempt her to arrange an accident.
    Incidentally, I don't know how big the inheritance was but it may have been foolish to make OP the sole heir, particularly if it is large or much of the assets were in IRA(s) (and we're talking U.S. tax laws). Half now, and half to Grandma which will pass to OP eventually may be smarter. That would spread out the tax burden, including spreading out how long she has to fully distribute IRA(s) into cash.

    Car Story - Some really good advice here, with thoughtfulness towards the benefit of the helpless animal. I feel a little bad for the children as well but the poor cat cannot help him/herself. To find a new catetaker that the cat loves to snuggle and purr with is fantastic. I am happy that you plan to keep the cat and allow it to keep his new attentive humans.

      I think it's the shelters responsibility to give OP back the money if he was to give the cat back. I mean they messed up & need to be accountable as a business. But Personally I Think OP should keep the cat. The other owners aren't Responsible owners!

      OP tried their best to find the owner...BUT I was kind of horrified at the amount of money they had to pay to adopt the kitten from the shelter! All I could think is you should have just kept it and paid nothing.

    First story- the mum must be getting the address from someone close to OP, she needs to speak to her grandmother and tell her not to give the address to anyone she doesn't trust, to keep it secret from OPs mother. Hopefully if grandmother is the one giving the address to her daughter she will realise that it is harmful to granddaughter and keep it secret.
    Last story - the question that came to my mind was is he gay and didn't want to come out to his mum and all the racist talk was to put the girls off, so when his mum asked he could blame not having a girlfriend on the girls

    • @shells500tutubo

    Cat story. Op does not need to feel or be guilty! As a commentator said "Irresponsable cat owner's problem!" that op had the cat in the first place. Ethical shelter's will place the animal with the "best" possible owner, even if the previous "owner" filled in the paperwork for a lost pet. They may have looked at no chip, no de sexing etc. and thought op/gf would probably be better "adoptee's" for the cat.

    First story tell your mom as a fellow woman she should respect your choices

  • @victorvaldez8869
    @victorvaldez8869 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I would have suggested OP inform her EGG DONOR that, while she respects she is an independent woman who made her own choices, they still have NO relationship with each other & haven't for decades. As an independent woman, they have been fine living their own lives & OP sees no reason for that to change just because of the societal norm of letting genetics determine who you call family, so it would be best if she not try to contact OP again as she has no interest in cultivating a relationship with a total stranger who now clearly has the inheritance motive.

  • @PoipoleEntertainment1987

So you owed her nothing at all, in my book any woman can birth a child, but it's takes a special woman to be called mother. OP please get yourself some camera, both inside and outside of your home. Cat story: that 9ld owner did more wrong than just not chip it, he left it so sick you took it to get help. He's irresponsible, and if there's plenty of free kittens on the narket place he can go get one himself, though he shouldn't be allowed any
    Besides, he would have had to pay the chipping and medical fees to the shelter to hlget it back

    Keep the cat and call the police on these kids hanging outside you window.

  • @arlenewitt248
    @arlenewitt248 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Story 2: keep the cat. The previous owners failed to do what they are legally required to do. It is obvious that while the kids may love the cat, the parent(s) consider it a cheap disposable toy. This is really POOR, POOR cat parenting as it is dangerous to let your cat go outside. Cats should be full-time indoor animals, regardless of what the cat wants to do. Letting your cat roam free exposes them to cat diseases, becoming prey or being injured by outside dangers, including being hit by a car. Plus, cats live longer, healthier lives and are more affectionate when kept full-time indoors. Just remember to keep its litter box clean, play with your cat and remove any toxic plants and cat-proof your home.

    On the cat story. Playing devil's advocate. Microchips very often do wonder and can be difficult to find/read even if the cat is chipped. And cats do sometimes just sneak out from any opening. Yes, the previous owners should be more careful but that doesn't mean you should never open a window to make sure your cat doesn't get out
    As OP didn't state if the previous owner claimed it was chipped or not but still. Just because they couldn't find the microchip doesn't mean it wasn't chipped.

    Did you call or go to the shelter yourself & ask if he really did ask about the cat? You said he showed “proof” but proof can be faked if you know how &/or are shady. I’d also take the rental company to task for giving out your number/info to this person.
    Suggest he go after the shelter since there was a (supposed) “miscommunication” on their part. The shelter could have lied to him because of the condition the cat was in when you brought it in to them or he gave off bad vibes.
    Saying you will keep the cat but he needs to pay you almost $500 is wrong. If he pays you’d have give him the cat. Just tell him “No. & to stop bothering us.”
    Though I would train the cat to use another window because I’m getting vibes the guy will pop the screen off & take the cat. The cat could pop it off too. Cats are tricky-- we had one who’d, partially, pop the screen off my sibling’s bedroom window. Almost got her in BIG trouble until the cat wanted back in one day after dad had let him in an hour earlier.

    Spaying/neutering and microchipping a cat is a legal requirement? Since when? I know of no laws requiring either. Vaccinations may be required, but not the other two.

      Hawaii passed a law requiring microchips for cats and dogs in 2021, the first state level requirement in the US. Some counties and cities have their own laws regarding microchips and spaying/neutering.
      Microchipping is required for cats and dogs in Japan, and the United Kingdom seems to be moving towards a similar law.

      @@rogerrabbit80 talk about overstepping boundaries especially the microchipping. Yet the government isn't the one paying the bill for all that stuff they like to require.

    independent men or women both men and women are depended on each other even if the man provides for the house unless he does everything on the house like caring for the children and housework while being the breadwinner and his wife is lazy and does nothing then he is dependent on his wife and the opposite is true if the women is working and does housework takes care of the childeren then she is indepdendent if not she is depended on her husband and he is dependent on her unless as i explained earlier in marriage their is shared resposibility if the housework burden and taking care of the childeren is too heavy for the childeren then the husband/wife should help unless the work is as hard and if one of them forgets that he is depended on the other in the marriage and acts upon it then it will always bring disaster

    Last story is too funny. Thankfully the mom now knows who her son is and will hopefully stop setting him up and losing friends.
