Beautiful turnout! Beautiful horses and so very trusting of their riders. I'm curious, though, stupid question I know, but why are their hooves not shellaced before they are led to their traces? Seems like a lot of running around about their hooves when they could get excited or spooked and accidentally hurt their groom.
