      No no no. Durante la grabación de QueenI un productor escucho a Queen y quedó especialmente prendado de la voz de Freddie y grabaron dos canciones. I Can hear Music(con Brian y Roger) y la versión con Freddie de esta canción. Las dos canciones aparecen bajo el nombre de Larry Lurex( no podía ser llamado Queen, ni Freddie Mercury por derechos legales). Aparece en la canción Mother Love ya que está fue la última canción que Freddie canto y al final se escucha Goin Back ya que fue lo primero que Freddie grabó profesionalmente.

    • @jkfan2005
      @jkfan2005 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The point is, the typical short version of the comments/opinions/recollections is "Carole King wrote this" which is half true. Same for Brian Wilson-- various lyricists worked with him but it usually comes out "Brian Wilson wrote this"
      Especially when the praise is for a sensitive, thoughtful story told in a song. All we know for sure about the COMPOSER is that they came up with the "la- la- la- da- dee-dee dah" part...

    • @bobfromoilcity7274

      The music is the music. When it comes down to it, the words’ meanings don’t matter very much, not as much as the sounds. King had a great gift, Goffin a modest one.

    • @jamespeyton7312
      @jamespeyton7312 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      He penned the words; she penned the music. The book "Girls Like Us" said Goffin was not happy that King wrote all the new songs on Tapestry without him, many with her own lyrics, and that the album stands as her greatest contribution to American popular music.

      Dusty's was before the Byrds... THEY seemed to look for something less girl-y. I suppose they consulted with Goffin & King to work something out.
