In this video, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luis Guerra aims at exploring the benefits and potential of teaching a wide range of Global Englishes by delving into the phonological, morphological, lexical, and syntactic features of some international varieties of English, such as Australian English, Indian English, Singapore English, and African American Vernacular English. The primary objective is to enhance students’ understanding of how language and culture are closely linked and to highlight the rich linguistic, cultural, and intercultural variety of the English language.
