- King of Macba is a game of skate where anything in the plaza count (ledge, stairs etc...)
It's one attempt each until the word MACBA is spelled out.
Spots must be alternated when in command, so you cant pick the same spot two times in a row.
Defence has 2 tries and 3 tries on the last letter.
The picnic table must be used one time in the game.

“Skate Goat”🙄 He shouldn’t have even made it to the 2nd round. Ribeiro let him off easy. Tired of seeing this dude with his wack “no stance” gimmick. He uses that BS to his advantage any time he can.
I've loved this series from the start but having "skategoat" on it makes me not want to watch it.

@@bewatermyfriend7355 He didn’t need to. He is actually good and doesn’t want to hurt himself playing a low stakes game for TH-cam. By that logic Jaws would be one of the top competitors. Fact is, skate goat jumps off stuff and launches big air tricks on transition. Other than that, he is pretty limited. The stance thing is a sad gimmick because most pro skaters can out skater him switch. Objectively, he isn’t on par with current professionals, but was made pro with literally no big parts or effort in the armature scene. He is a product of Berrics marketing, and I think that’s why people don’t like him. At least, that’s why I am not a fan of his.

Its not hate for someone to point put something that they don’t like. The less defensive we are the more we can learn about someone we like even if others don’t like them. Maybe it’s healthy to question why we like someone, or why do we idolize them. Not many are deserving of that form of investment. Most « haters » have valid criticism and the defenders usually are too afraid to see even a warranted critique so they jump into the fight without even asking if its worth it. Its as if they want to see something as perfect. Look, I get it, everybody « rips » a little kid who just learned how to ollie « rips » but at some point there are major differences. All rippers are not created equal, some use gimmicks to obfuscate their stance or create a persona, while others master the hardest tricks to do and just have raw skill. 🤷🏾 Dunno

I don't support hating, guys, I just think Giovanni's style suits Macba more. Buttery smooth bluntslides - this is what I like to see here. Leandre is fast and he can fly, but he's not as technical. We're getting to some serious battles ahead!

I like the winner and I’m glad he won, but that very first trick was a clearly boogered bluntslide. you don’t even need slo mo to see it, and other refs always call it

^^if you miss either one of these on a flatbar instead of a ledge you’ll slam. the ledge just makes the epic miss hurt less
this isn’t even a matter of a redo on offense (although that’s how many KoM refs treat it): if you completely miss the thing you’re trying to interact with (in this case the ledge’s Lip for a lip trick), then you never even got into the trick. other skater’s turn.
