I literally threw my phone when Tiago landed that nollie late flip... Tiago seems like the nicest, most humble embodiment of what skateboarding is all about. Breaking Adriel off a piece at the end, you can tell the guy just has so much passion for everything and everyone. Watching these contests over the years has solidified by thoughts that Tiago and Gustav are some of the best skaters in the world and are up there in the pantheon of the greats. Give many thanks to Tiago for blessing us as a community with something so magical.
That final game was the perfect representation of skateboarding competition and the best ending this event could have. Much success in future King of Macbas.

Everything is great about this, spot, skills, even the opening beat - but the very best is the obvious love and admiration between the contestants. The whole event has been one of my highlights in 2021, and I'm not even a skateboarder really, I can barely kickflip. Thank you all!
KING OF MACBA grew on me, battle by battle, trick by trick. The most valuable thing was the closeness, respect and appreciation for each other. Also love to see how passerby gathered around to acknowledge skateboarding. ¡SkateboardingForEver!
Tiago is a favorite skater for many reasons. Humility goes a long way. Congratulating the guy for each letter, giving half of the money to his competitor, redoing tricks when he thought they were bad, uplifting many Brazilian skaters and giving them a stage to shine. I’ve never met the guy, I just admire from a far… bless you Tiago
