you’re on one. giving someone 2 chances for a flat ground trick is terrible. ledges yes slides yes. flat ground no. imagine you’re playing PRod. you’d never win. he’d hit everything second try

Definitely better than BATB more unique wholesome and raw and you can feel the friendly energy
Plus I like the rule that player take turns in offense regardless of previous result. But I think that might not work well in BATB or flatground. Try also watching Sobreskate's Slides and Grinds! Its like skate but on one ledge. Really good battles too.

Both skaters will exhausted at the end but still gave it their all, such an insane match up. Hyped to see the rest of the tournament.

I never, ever ever ever agreeded with that 'just one chance def' format and, worst than this: the atk remains on atk until dont land the trick, its totally unfair. An unfair competition is an anti-sport sh!t for me. U guys absolutelly solved all problems and this is the format this kind of competition should take, no matter if the name is MACBA, SKATE, etc... Hey Berrics, take note! The sport itself is evolving and theres no reason to keep unfair type competitions. Ty Macba!
4:37 was a bad call. That shit counted and then he ended up getting a letter for it for the re-do's.
Initially I thought so too. But if you play it in slow motion, you can see that it was a serious toe drag, not just a wonky landing.
