A video on input objects, such as buttons, sliders, switches, numeric entry and text entry would be appreciated. Thank you!

That is correct. Which is why it's important to consider breaking up a system into smaller subsystems. The main page on the HMI should give high level information such as alarm indicators and only the most important parameters, with lower level pages for each subsystem with more detailed information and controls. An operator won't be able to monitor 50+ measuring values, equipment status and controls on one page. The other videos in the series go in more detail about this.
Remember that when you are depicting a sensor, you providing sensor information and not the graphical sensor. This will allow you to provide information over data!
