Wow. I just came across this video right before this place closes down. For anyone who comes across this video, Dart Bowl is closing down along with the cafe as of Friday night 7/17/2020. It sucks to see this go because there was really good food here as well as the enchiladas. You will be missed Dart Bowl.

k. Reality check. I grew up in southern New Mexico. Born and raised 26 miles from the Mexican border. I lived in Austin for 2 years. Having the best enchiladas in Austin... NOT impressive. When you order enchiladas in this part of Texas, you're very likely to get a flour tortilla with Velveeta and Hormel hotdog chili on it (true story.) This is the part of Texas where the newspapers used to be in German. In all fairness, the chicken fried steak was probably excellent.
How are all the comments on Lucas's videos overwhelmingly positive? Dining on a Dime aka Everyone Loves Lucas. Didn't really see the appeal at first but now I get it.
sorry, maybe it was my understanding of English that is wrong: so the breaded chicken, is it breaded beef steak or chicken? because from the side view after being cut, it doesn't look like chicken? and Lucas, you're a very fair AND just, by not downright criticizing the menu that is not "above par" using a language that is easy to understand and accept. Again, always looking forward for another episode of dining on a dime. more dancing please!!!

I'll bet anything that those enchiladas are actually processed American cheese blocks that have been shredded and canned chili that has been doctored up. I don't see how else you could make chili that looks like that if it's made from scratch
