I got about 200+ hrs in squad and im still learning its a very hard game to get to grips with i usually play as a medic,it really gives me a purpose to keep squad/team mates up and going and players always say thank you for your efforts its quite rewarding. There are times it can be very intimidating and getting killed out of no where but when you get an amazing round and a decent squad to be apart of its so so good. Ive strayed away from HLL recently after last update just doesnt feel right. Keep at squad to get a few hours under belt and you wont regret it man it sucks you right in. Great content as always dude.👍😎
Thanks for this! I will be continuing to play it. It does suck you in to the immersion of it. I have about 5 matches in and each match had it's own level of craziness to it.
@@TwinCityShredder no probs man. Play it like your playing HLL but with a little more caution and awareness. Always check your map and call out enemy contacts(without the ping function😄) just like HLL and youll get used to it. Building fortifications and stationary implacements for.your squad lead is cool also especially when you get a go on the mortars😁 super friendly community guys are willing to help out and give you a good experience with the game. Peace✌️
@@joefoe2329 the community was awesome. I like that a lot. The mortar squad has to be cool. I can't wait to experience more of the game. There isn't a ping. Ok cool I didn't know that, I was in too much shock to notice hahaha. Thanks for the reply.
I don't think it's the pace we are looking for. It's a much slower pace but the action is intense and the sound design is amazing. I'm not sure what to do about HLL, but I'm open to suggestions. We could all play this weekend but it's frustration how the game is now. I think we will all have to wait for HLL to be reverted or balanced, or burning lands. Fallujah is 4 player co-op so that doesn't work in the long run. What's your thoughts?
I’ll say this as a person that has over 1000 hours each in squad and HLL, even though these games are similar there is still a learning curve if you are jumping fresh into one from the other. I had over 600 hours in squad when I first started playing hll, and I had a pretty hard time. In tactical games like these, the player relies on small details to gain the advantage. Using little audio or visual cues is often what gives you the leg up in a firefight. So it will take a bit before you learn these but, any experienced HLL player should catch on quick. Squad is a bigger game in every aspect. It has more maps, factions, weapons, vehicles, games modes, mechanics, etc. The gameplay is less linear, without restriction on where the next POI will be or where the player can go. There is also a huge modding community which can add even more variety. The pace can feel off at first, but as you get used to it will feel just as smooth as HLL. Hope to see you on the battlefield. P.S. (I recommend you change the key bindings to match HLL, especially for ADS and comms)
@@TwinCityShredder I think the patch coming this month may address some of our concerns. I know the new devs don't wanna lose the millions they paid for the IP. I'm willing to bet they curb some of the running speed, and fix the sway in the Brit guns for balance. If the next patch is still crap, I may just give up.
@@Daphnis_ate_Chloe I appreciate your comment. I need to get a couple more matches in, and iron out my flow. I think I have my controller mapped out, which took a couple matches to realize what I missed. It's a great game. I have had fun in all the matches. I have also played the Star Wars mod, which was kind of buggy, but again has amazing sound design. I look forward to my next match, and all the chaos haha.

But, is it good enough that the entire group of us should invest in it? Isn't this game dying?

@@timndel I think we all feel that same sentiment. I won't be returning until it's all fixed. the snowball has gotten too big with U14.
