- Last week we chopped the roof 6 inches. The windows are tacked back in place now we're going to tackle the front windshield and then fabricate a new piece for the top of the cowl 🔥

I always wondered how chops were done. Great job!
Again great episode guys, I'm thinking the cowl piece will relax the fitment of the windshield frame quite a bit so there isn't so much stress on the glass. I use a third arm a lot on my builds as well, notice how it slips off easily. To prevent it from doing that just add rubber, felt, or even a piece of leather tip to the end of it, works wonders. Again, nice camera work Jolene. See you tomorrow :)

Mr chad I like your work you could have used some ratchet straps to help you pull that roof down just a thought I was thinking that windshield is cracked and flexible will a new peace of glass fit the same way cause it appears to me that it’s forced in there with the vice grips you might want to get a new peace to see will it fit right in with out force once everything is welded in place just my thoughts. Keep up the good work

I hope he leaves a lot of the patina on it and doesn’t try to make it a show car. I just think it’s a shame to hide all that talent underneath paint. If it was me I would be proud to share my work when he takes it to the race track. It would definitely draw a crowd. Can you imagine the questions he would get if he told them “oh yeah I did that in a few days”. And he did it right in front of thousands of people. Fact!

I watch Mike's channel too I like the way he fabs & I like the traditional way he builds but I'm also a big fan of the Rat Fink style and I think that's where you come from a lot I see it in your style. I think it's cool you guys are challenging each other. Keep up the great work.

You might have to cut all the way around the windshield channel, and then fit the channel to the body? At some point you will want a glass man to install a new windshield.
Getting them pieces together.
Use the 3 finger shear one of your fans gave you, it's made for that job.
