- Out of all the glitches in Pokemon games, the ACE glitch is like the mother of all glitches. Completely breaking the game open, allowing you to do almost anything you want, I present Merrp's A.C.E glitch. Want to get legit event Pokemon like Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Deoxys? No problem. What about rebattling Steven, completing your pokedex or making Groudon and Kyogre reappear in their caves? Sure! This glitch is so powerful, it allows you to write almost any code in your save file by changing the names of your PC boxes after setting up the glitch. It involves multiple glitches like the cloning glitch, reverse cloning, pomeg berry glitch, and glitzer popping.

Got problems? check this:
- Before executing, make sure that box 12, 13, 14 and the last row of box 11 are empty. Also make sure that you're not using the special wallpaper from Walda (in Rustboro City) on box 2, 6, 10 or 14, any other wallpaper is fine.
- game crashes when egg hatches? - your box names are most likely wrong. Type all spaces and double check all letters.
- make sure you are using the correct code for your version. The code shown is for english version.
- Remember to delete your hatched glitch and it MUST be done through the deposit option. Put the hatched egg first in your party if you crash before deleting.

Back in the day 10-15+ years ago, i had emerald and knew about the dupe glitch as well as how to dupe legendarys. I gave my friends level 100 rayquazas, groudons and Kyogres as well as other cool stuff.

@@MankeyMite Source code has been decompiled for a decade+ at this point. Once that was accomplished it likely just took someone looking for oversights or playing with a debugging tools

Try to do the cloning glitch. If that works, you might be able to do it. I have no knowledge on the fake ones, but let me know if it works!
Great video! Everything worked for me except one thing, the guy in the Mauville PC is still decor trader for me. Is there something I am missing?
Sorry for late response.. What do you mean with decor trader? If you mean he has a different hair color it is normal, he has a different hair color depending on the trainer ID number.
@MankeyMite Oh, sorry, I meant to delete this comment. He was the decoration trader for me, and I messed a few things up when trying to do this glitch, so he never wanted to give me the mystery gift items😅 All sorted now.

I was doing the glitch and everything was going smooth until I realized the egg I have has everything correct the only thing is it has status paralysis. do I have to start all the way over or is it fine?
Oh, I haven't experienced getting an egg with the paralyzed status before, but It sounds like it could be the wrong glitch egg, which means you should redo the pomeg berry part and get the correct egg as the codes will not work without the correct glitch egg. I hope it works out!

Hi! Yes, you can follow step by step until the end where you change names on pc boxes. Those codes are different, and you can find them by going to the pastebin link in the description, find the code you want to do (I reccommend the one called "first list of codes for box name execution"), scroll down until you see "for Italian versions:" and use those box names instead.

Yes that should not matter! I have tried it on
mGBA emulator, not sure if it works on all emulators but try the cloning glitch first to see how that works out before doing all the other stuff! Good luck!

Its just a fun thing they did where each save file he will have different hair color depending on the trainer ID😂
Does it work on fire red? Like the mystic ticket(lugia/ho-oh) and aurora ticket (deoxys)?
if you trade over the glitched pokemon it can be done there as well.
@MankeyMite so let's say I hypothetically already have dots and have fully evolved well it still worm if I fully evolved dots and reset evs or am I fucked
Started doing this last year but I accidentally let me og copies of pluses and dots get pokerus, will the glitch still work or do I have to get new ones
The pokerus status is fine, as long as you are aware that the EVs gained will be doubled when it has the PKRS status. If it has been cured by it (you will no longer see a "PKRS" but instead a black dot.) it will still get double EVs but cannot spread it to other party members. You must be careful when EV training to make sure you get the right amount of EVs as there is no easy way to check if you did before attempting the codes later. this is why you should have a copy of Seedot that is untrained, so you can try again if it fails.
What does "dots in a nest bowl with poke russ" mean?
At 5:21 you can see the egg being named "Egg" instead of "Bad Egg". If you check its summary, you have to make sure its name under the sprite says "Dots", the ball it is in is a nest ball (green ball with orange stripes), and that it has the pokerus virus (purple status "PKRS")

ive tried 4 times but everytime i give shuppet a pomeg berry it says “base hp cant fall” ? how do i get around this?
did you give it the protein and make the HP uneven? Im guessing you are trying to give it a pomeg at 1 hp but if it can't be lowered it means it has less than 10 HP evs, as the pomeg berry reduces HP evs by 10.

Do the fainted weak Pokemon and shuppet need to be present while you hatch the egg?
No, when you get the Dots egg after the pomeg berry glitch you don't need the Shuppet or fainted pkmn anymore:)
@@MankeyMite when I try to hatch it just stays on a black screen for 30s before the egg animation starts then freezes. My internal battery is dry, do you think that could have any effect?
@@duckhunter34444344 Internal dry battery has no effect on the hatching of the egg, so most likely the code is wrong. Make sure to type all spaces, and look for similar symbols that might be wrong!
What happened if i got rid of my Pluses i got in emerald? Can i trade ralts for a pluses in ruby and trade it over to emerald? That should work right?
I believe that works! Also, Pluses is not a must, it just increases the odds to get a Dots egg drastically.

@@ivanivany7762 Oh yea no that's right, on ruby/sapphire there are different trade Pokemon. So yea maybe your best bet is to try without Pluses, or trade over your important pokemon to ruby and start a new save

try placing the hatched egg first in your party before going to the pc and deleting it:)

can i reuse an already used dots(seedot) to perform this glitch?
As long as you know the exact EVs it has and get those right you are good to go. You may need to lower them to zero to start over to make sure you get the right amount. If it has earned exp before it probably has a very random EV spread and there is no easy way to track what it is without resetting it with berries obtained from Berry master on route 123. there is one berry per stat. Save in front of him, get a berry from him, use it on Dots to see if the stat is lowered or has no effect. Reset game until you get a different berry and try with all other stats. You may need to farm these by changing the clock as he only gives one per day.
the pomeg berry is not working, my shuppet says that it cannot be lowered because it grows friendly
if the pomeg berry isn't working it means you have no HP EV's on it. You should increase it's HP EVs using the HP up vitamin or two (or three) until the HP is an odd number. (Even if your shuppet has an odd HP number from before). Then when using Pomeg berry it will work and make shuppet faint.
What's the Plusle for?
Pluses act as a stabelizer for the glitch, makes it easier to excecute the dots egg corruption. That's the easy way of explaining it, it can get pretty complicated.
What if Dots gets lv. 9? Does it affect the corruption?
the level does not matter, as long as it has the correct EVs:)

yes, because in order to clone you must have access to the Battle Frontier, which is unlocked after beating the game
Do these work on ruby/sapphire?
no, but if you set up the glitch in emerald and trade the egg it is possible.
My game freezes when I try to releass the pokemon hatched from the glitch egg. Can someone help? Please??
Try to move the glitched egg to the first position of your party first, then enter "deposit" mode and delete it there without looking at the summary.

It needs to be the traded Dots. Maybe you can trade it from another Emerald save?

@@cristianpaulolpindo4728 it would work, yes. But its pretty easy to get Volbeat if you breed a Illumise with a ditto - 50% chance to get Volbeat per egg:)
When I do the glitch I don’t get any seedot eggs after I white out. Is there anything I am doing wrong
it usually take a few tries to get it. Try letting go of the scrolling at different times each try, but stay within 2-5 seconds. Once you get a Dots egg, it has a chance to be in a premier ball, but you need one inside a nest ball.
@@MankeyMite I also cloned all my see dots after gaining exactly 17 ev’s, could that be problematic?
@@LeonardoGonzalezChavez no that's fine, but i would reccomend keeping a cloned Dots that has not been ev trained, in case you have messed up the ev training. But as long as you are seeing plusles and dots turning into eggs after the pomeg glitch, you just need to try again until you get the right egg.

@@LeonardoGonzalezChavezOh! Then I can see two possible problems. Either you haven't put the cloned dots and pluses in box 2, or you are not corrupting the game correctly. When getting the question mark pokemon, go into the summary of a pokemon, close it, then I said to hold "up" for 5 seconds, but make sure you press b first to close the little menu so that you are actually scrolling up in the pokemon selection and not the little menu that pops up after pressing "a" on a pokemon. You should be able to hear the scrolling happening.
I never knew you can hold multiple mons in gen 3. Am I the only who doesn't know that?😂

my pluses is lv 13? I did not train pluses, but it also does not matter if your pluses gets exp, and does not matter what level your Dots is, as long as it gets the right amount of EV points
Is the wrong code the main reason for the freeze?
I entered the code 5 times but the game still froze(playing on emulator)
@@_akashi_7221 yea the freeze is usually due to wrong code. Make sure you type the spaces as well. Some of the letters are easily mistaken for other letters.

No, Dots is not renamed and you don't need to worry about his moves, just the right EV amount. Level does not matter either. Pluses needs to only know growl, however.

@@spyrosmoukos4512 crashing is most likely due to wrong pc box names. Make sure you type the spaces, and don't mistake q for a 9 and so on. One tiny mistake is all it takes for it to crash.
