The nugget bridge glitch was likely discovered by someone who was so bad at pokemon, they couldn't beat the Nugget bridge guy. Amazing.
Could be what you said but it could be a smart guy who thought hmm since you have same dialogue with the trainer untill u win and the rocket grunt gives you nugget in the first dialogue so if I lose on purpose I get money

I was replaying the game this week and discovered it by accident. my pokemon were weakened and I didn't go back to the pokemon center so I lost and got a second nugget

The one thing i did before the nuggets was convert my pk $ into items that i can sell back later on bc i was going to keep losing my cash anyway. Worked perfectly
God my brother blamed me all these years for trying to help him get entei, I can finally tell him it was the game

Man, Entei was by far the single most annoying thing in my first copy of HeartGold. Meanwhile on the second one he didn't even try to get away. I have mixed feeling about that dog to this day.
Entei was my first dog encounter as a kid and it got to the point where I just waited till i got a master ball and got a pokemon with mean look

Small correction on the roaming Pokemon glitch at the end: Suicune doesn't know Roar so only Entei and Raikou can nope themselves out of the game.
still sucks to know they're impossible pokemon to catch in these games
@@JeskidoYT You CAN catch them. They do not imminently default to using roar, giving you chances to do damage or throw Pokeballs.
Just don't save your game if you get roared.
That or just throw a Pokeball at the start and hope you get lucky. The Fast Ball was design for exactly this.
@@JeskidoYT You can also use a pokemon with web/baton pass like Ariados (breeding with a Ledian) and then send Mr.Mime. Of course it requiere some preparation but then you can catch the roamer with no difficulty

DarkonFullPower Fast Balls and Quick Balls don’t exist in these games.
There's actually another glitch regarding the roaming Pokémon in addition to the Roar glitch which causes Raikou and Entei (but not Suicune, as it doesn't know Roar at the level encountered in FRLG) to flee!
In FireRed and LeafGreen (as well as Ruby and Sapphire, but not Emerald, where it was fixed), a Pokémon's IVs are stored as a 32-bit integer, with roaming Pokémon having theirs stored in a special location in memory that can be pulled from to ensure their stats remain consistent through encounters. However, a glitch causes only 8 of the 32 bits to be transferred, which means that a roaming Pokémon in these games - The Legendary Beasts in FRLG and the respective members of the Eon Duo in RS - can only ever have at best an IV spread of 31/7/0/0/0/0 - HP is unaffected, but Attack caps at 7, and the remainder of the stats always get 0s, making them pretty much useless in terms of high level play.
In short thank god for Emerald and Coloseum
I found that out the hard way years ago. It's bad enough roaming Pokemon have their nature set from the moment you "unlock" them, but the garbage ivs thing is just salt in the wound. I'm so glad they made legendary Pokemon have a guaranteed three perfect ivs from Gen 6 onward.
So they're useless in a useless game mode. Got it. Ridiculous you competitive cucks will legit throw something out just because it's IVs aren't perfect and you for some reason need that extra 20 attack points or whatever

4:02 a trainer battle against a Shiny Pokemon?! That's just cruel!
That espeon is always in the trainer hill section of the game. Theres also shiny seaking and a couple others from trainers within that area
I remember fighting a trainer in the fire gym who had a shiny charmander

Technically it only affects two of them, Suicune doesn’t learn Roar. It stopped learning it by level in Crystal and it never got it back

You use Sand Tomb and Raikou gets so pissed off that you got sand in his eyes that he roars you away and leaves Kanto forever, probably crying in pain from having sand in his eyes.

For the Glitch with the Legendary Beasts, you don’t have to worry about it if your beast is Suicune, solely because it doesn’t even have Roar in its level-up moveset in Generation 3. But if it did, it probably would be effected by the glitch as well.

The whipping the legendary dogs glitch actually occurs in version 1.0 of the game after that Game Freak fixed that glitch in the later version of FR and LG

I have version 1.1 of Firered and I cam confirm the Roaming glitch is still there. Distinctly remember having to anxiously shut off my cart as a kid after Entei Roared away and the Pokedex said it was gone.

Ahh... I abused the living heck out of that glitch when I used to play FireRed back in the day.

But now it's time to just enjoy the fact that A+start is finally back.
As someone who's never played pokemon I think I'll start off with mystery dungeon but that might be too complicated so I might have to do the original ones first.

I heard the roaming legendaries also have poor stats. They are effectively never good if they come from FireRed or LeafGreen.
I remember back in 3rd grade when My Friend said the reason the roaming legendaries had Roar was Specifically so if you try to trap them they can screw you over for “Cheating” which I found to make sense back then

Also you can stop the Roar glitch by switching to a Pokemon with Soundproof as it's ability, as it stops sound based moves.

Funny enough, in gen 3 that's actually physically impossible. Eggs hatch into level 5 Pokémon (somehow) and the lowest level Pokémon you can find in the wild is level 2.
Use the magicarp that u can buy
In gen 1 level 1 pokemon automatically became level 100

I remember taking advantage of the Infinite Nugget glitch in the rom hack "Yet Another FireRed Hack"...yes, it's actually called that. Don't knock it. It's a fun mod.
Also, the Roar glitch can't technically happen with Suicune due to it no longer being able to learn Roar via level-up since Crystal Version. So anyone who chose Charmander as their starter is safe.
And there's why roaming legendaries were a bad idea.
And, while I have FireRed, but don't have the box for the box for the game, so, where on the cartridge can I tell what version I have?
The version of the game should be on the back of the cartridge. If there is none, it might be v1.0

Also, if I recall correctly, there's another glitch with the roaming legendary beasts that sets their HP IV to something like 14 and the rest of their IVs to 0.
