HAIRDRESSER BOX DYING MY HAIR BROWN! L'Oreal Box Color/ Quarantine Home Hair Color

- Quarantine is making us have to use box dye to update our hair color, and I have succumbed to the pressure to change my color back to dark. Light hair is VERY hard to maintain, so I got myself a box of hair color and box-dyed my hair at home with L'Oreal Excellence Cream. I really didn't want to do this FYI!
In this video I discuss why I'm so hesitant to box-dye my hair, and I hope you learn a little bit about why this is not the best choice, but it's our ONLY choice right now. I just used box dye on my hair about same length as yours. Medium golden brown and looks ok I like colour I actually liked lighter colour on you before dyed your hair

Hiiii I just saw your video during quarantine lol but I have a question I got quite some root hair growth and very brassy highlights I want to go back to the closest to my natural hair color so I bought a 6A light ash brown to see if I can darken those highlights but I'm terrified it will lift my roots and I'm end up with orangy roots and darker ends pls help! Should I exchange it for a medium ash brown?? TIA
I have no idea what you bought, what brand or what it will do to your hair. No way to diagnose over the internet. Text your stylist :)
If I have a neutral skin tone, would medium brown or dark ash brown look better on me?
Hi Lauryn! If your skin is neutral, go with a neutral hair color, which should be labeled "medium". Ash is cool and anything that says "golden" is warm! :) Side note - I'm no expert at box hair color like I mention in my video and I'm unsure of how the color will turn out without knowing your starting color.
