Learn Tambour Embroider 3: Two ways to add beads

This is where the going gets shiny! Today we're covering two different ways to add beads - the Ari method and the Luneville method, both of which are useful in their own different ways. I hope you appreciate my little history lesson at the front - I absolutely love deep diving into this stuff, and it was SO difficult it was to keep that section under three minutes! Luneville technique is perfectly suitable for frequent bead type switches... you just need to have it planned well beforehand, and string the beads in order. Ari technique, is superior for spontaneous beading.

I definitely like the ease of the under stitching. That constant bead retireval seems tedious..... which says a LOT, consixering how daunting this whole process seems to be 😂

why you dont stitch the beads on top?

A theoretical question: if one needs to switch beads, would it not be possible to thread them in sequence ahead of time and then work from the bottom? Or is that too impractical?

Theoretically you totally could! Your count and the sequence would have to be perfect - a mistake would be tricky to fix, but I imagine it could work really well in certain situations if you were happy to spend the time individually stringing them!
