My friends were working at that Walmart when he did the creepy things he did, and they are minors(Wisconsin allows people to work at the age of 14 to keep its economy growing instead of paying workers more). And he was arrested at the corner by 2 of the 10 places I know, the same place my dad and I go for weekly trivia. Really hit home and freaked me out. This racist lady really doesn’t surprise me, as La Crosse was a sundown town. My father is black and my mother is Latina, so living in a sundown town isn’t for me. Don’t get me started on the micro aggressions at school. All in all, if the crazy people weren’t enough to convince you, take it from a 16 year old; Don’t move to La Crosse Wisconsin if you don’t want to live in constant fear as a young girl of color. I really hope my school and the few people I know don’t see this lmao. I’m sure as an adult or college student and all of that, things are less scary and shitty, or if you’ve lived here long enough things are less scary and shitty, but I have only lived here for a year and won’t be an adult until I’m in college. IDK about statistics about how great living here is, but in English we looked at the housing statistics, and the fact that no black families own their own homes or so few of them do that it doesn’t make a dent into percentages, it ain’t for me. For the unaware, the video with the pregnant woman, pretty sure that's the case where the woman was being divorced by her husband, who lived on the military base. She was tossed from the base, as the husband told the base that she wasn't to be allowed back into the home. She contended that there were personal belongings in the home she wanted to retrieve, but refused to go through proper channels to get them. (Which makes me think she just wanted to mess up the house for revenge and get the husband in trouble for damage to the home.) Her dependent card was confiscated, and she tried to get back on base without it. Bad move.

The worst part about this video is that I work at Starbucks and we had a mega Karen today… she ordered a ton of light ice frappucinos and got upset the cups weren’t full to the top. We left a half inch of room due to not being allowed to alter the recipe. She had a literal melt down and yelled at us across the counter claiming the cups were completely empty because she didn’t understand what she ordered 🙃

So first one I feel like that guy didn't film just to film the Karen. Feels like one of those guys that's films or takes pics of heavier women and mock them online. I've had a few follow my sister when we go shopping.
