"Pizzicato Rockalong" - also seems to have been known by "insiders" as the "Thames Jazz".

So wait, if Thames had their more recognizable Start Up, why change it, and why for only 1 summer? That seems unnecessary.

Hi. ITV companies changed their start-up music quite a lot during the 60s & 70s until they settled on a particular theme. ATV, Granada and LWT and Border are also examples. But, Thames returned to 'Perpetuum Mobile' quite quickly.
