I don't know if you remember but Sweet Today was the shoujo manga they were obsessing over in Kaguya-sama.
And Chika being a babbler mouth ended up spoiling the ending to Kaguya during the summary of the story, the President and Ishigami duck taped her mouth and misunderstandings and shenanigans ensued.
And the little cameo of Kaguya in the manga had me giggling so much lol

age 6-12 is Elementary School, 12-15 is Middle School / Junior High, 15-18 is High School.
I believe Aqua and Ruby are 16, Kana is 17 and in her second year.
Not only is Oshi no Ko by the same author as Kaguya Love is War, but they're in the same universe. The manga they're adapting is the same one that cause the "Shojo manga brain" in season two of Kaguya.
Kana is base on a real child actress, she was huge in Japan like 10 -15 year or so ago, quite famous being really good at crying scenes, and was in pacific rim, crying and running away from the kaijus
Ai is based on someone too, right? O.o I think I remember seeing that somewhere when this show first came out and the name is similar too, if not identical.
I also adore the fact that Oshi No Ko just feels so unique. I don't think I can really compare it to anything else I've watched. So glad you guys are loving it!

Actually that Tokyo Ghoul comparison was so spot on. I'm gonna be completely honest, I only watched the anime, but since it was screwed over I didn't feel the need to go read the manga despite so many people telling me it's actually really good.
