Why I can't switch to Arc Browser: Windows and Android
Howdy all!
I'm aware that Arc has fixed these issues (they did 2 days after I published this video 😂)
So I guess this video is sort of obsolete, but I still think this is my best video EVER (so far), so please enjoy!
just a suggestion but id suggest lowering bg noise, lower the music volume, and lower volume on indoor recordings

Arc is a pretty nice browser even though it's powered by Chromium. I also can't use it as default because it lacks password syncing support and the Windows beta is not fully featured. Handoff does show up on my other Mac that I use it on, but I just take advantage of the tab syncing feature. For now I'm on Firefox until they have more uniformity between platforms. Honestly, they could've done it like how the DuckDuckGo browser uses WebKit on macOS, and WebView2 on Windows, taking advantage of the native renderers.
As cool as arc might be i don't trust american companies as far as browsers go so i won't be switchin to it both on desktop/phone
So the only one of the major browsers you can use is opera? I feel like you’ve limited yourself quite a bit for such a silly reason. Although I also use opera so maybe it’s ok

It's a chromium browser, that means that you are getting fucked by Google no matter what you do.
The comments you made are pretty much exclusively the result of the walled garden you're usiny. I'm not a huge fan of having everything sync, but Firefox I believe also has passwords, tabs, bookmarks, history etc. sync. I think you can even set Firefox to be the system password manager on Android. I'm not sure whether or not Arc has any sync functionality, but I know that you can set Bitwarden to be the system password manager on iOS so at least apple doesn't take that choice away. Didn't a recent update allow iOS users to set the default browser? It's technically all very doable, it's just a matter of Apple making it hard and/or that specific browser not having sync functionality.
