    I'm just getting into Kettlebells and you along with Mark Wildman are the best ones as far as making training principles simple and approachable for newbies like me. Thank you!

    I really appreciate all your instructional videos. I just started kettlebell training and your videos have helped me a ton. I also live in Kentucky, might stop by your gym sometime.

      Nice. Let. Me know as I rarely coach in person. Mostly special sessions.

    Thanks for this. The slow-mo breakdown is very helpful. I first noticed a problem with my snatch technique when watching another TH-cam video and then seeing you with that same technique as that video in your other videos. My snatch tends to flip forward on the way down rather than drop. Which explains why my grip gets really baked on long snatch sessions. I've been practicing the change, but I'm still in the 'feeling awkward' stage. This vid makes reviewing the downward transition easier as I practice.

    I can snatch way better than I can clean.. the kettlebell bruses the shit out of my forearms, but not on the snatch

      +Pestilence what are you doing differently? Do you have a video I could see?

      @will21 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Joe Daniels Swing This Kettlebell it's weird I push up at top of the snatch and it slows the kettlebell down, but on the clean the kettlebell has too much momentum and bounces off my forearms haha..maybe I should watch a video of yours doing cleans.

      Joe Daniels Swing This Kettlebell you ever get big bruses on the forearms from the kettlebell? or is that just me..

      Pestilence I have definitely when I started. but I didn't have the best instruction until I met a coach Ken Blackburn, in person. here and there if I do too much Kettlebell sport with heavy weights I'll get soreness. most of my bruises come from the post and hand insertion during long cycle. on underside of my arm area. that you would balance on the ground if you did a plank. it's how I clean. see my video on Kettlebell sport cleans. and slow mo

    Extremely helpful. My snatch is pretty good (not perfect). I have been moving to timed sets, and toward the end of the 10 minutes every flaw becomes evident. I have been focusing on disciplining myself to turn the elbow into the drop rather than flipping the bell. This tutorial in slow motion was exquisite. Thank you.

    Great explanation and break down of the snatch. I like how you demonstrate the Kettlebell snatch from various angles. That helps me understand how to do it correctly and what I’ve been doing incorrectly.
    Also, I love the slow motion. Helps you breakdown the mechanics even better!
