Perhaps it thinks something looks like a bike that’s a little close to the car? Are there any loud noises? Like an AC unit, furnace, water heater with calcium deposits or other noises within the house that could trigger it?
Mine does this too. Really irritating. I have had to format my drive a few times. and they have been soo many, I will never know if there was a serious one.
I have the same problem although I don’t park in a garage. But where I park outdoors the car is close to a boat on a trailer. It seems that just being close to an object (within a couple of feet) sets it off repeatedly. It’s very annoying. I have stopped using it at home. When I park anywhere else it works fine.
That's very interesting! Does it do the same thing if you go to a store and park near other cars? Or maybe if sentry mode knows it's a vehicle, it doesn't trip.. but other random objects make it nervous.
@@zacktripp No problem in a parking lot near other cars. It must be that it doesn’t recognize what it is. I need to t park next to the boat because of the charger location and I can’t really move the boat. So I’m stuck for now. Getting up to 362 sentry mode events gets to be a drag so I don’t use it.
Wow yeah I don't blame you! I started getting notifications that my memory was almost full today. I'd rather have that space available for dashcam, so I'll probably have to turn it off at home.
Here’s a wild ass guess. Does it happen more on a windy day? If so, and your garage door is in slight compression with ground, the horizontal folds (not sure of the technical name) on garage door can move slightly in and out. Try pushing on them when the garage door is closed.
Does anyone have any ideas? Or is my house haunted?! 👻

Interesting idea about a noise! I hadn't thought of that. I'll do some listening!
Yoooooooo…that Cookie Monster clip was funny af 😂😂😂😂😂
“Not a happy camper.” Dad mode engaged.
Hahaha glad someone appreciated that 😁
When it is fully dark inside the garage, it could be the green charging light on the UMC casting shadows and light to trigger it.
Ohh maybe! I'll have to try covering that up and seeing what happens.

Agreed! It fills up the drive so fast and there is a decent chance I've missed something in all the noise.
Definitely haunted!
Uh oh, that's not the answer I was looking for!

Now that is an interesting idea.. I'll investigate!
did you solve this issue?
