So I have a video of me trying to build a base and then suddenly getting harassed and accosted by a I texted wolf spider. I’m not strong enough to kill it yet so I kept trying to lure it away so I can build but he kept following me back and trying to destroy my work and me. Then another wolf spider came up and just TACKLED the infected spider. Completely ignoring me. Infected spider kept trying to agro me but wolf spider was like “nah fam you speaking with ME right now” and just kept bitch slapping it over and over. Finally infected spider got pissed and killed the wolf spider but had barely any health so I tried to kill it then but it turned the corner and straight up vanished. Was a wild moment and I’m thankful for that other wolf spider but the infected ones are fucking annoying sometimes
stop moving when fighthing, you need to have a good vision range of your enemy, and since 1.4.2, shields are counter to explosives, just block when the bomb/jump/three hit combo... and learn to perfect block, you can cancel all damage and DoTs from an attack if you block just in time
