- I forgot to mention that if you have FJDS already installed in your hard drive, you need to uninstall it to be able to use IDS properly. If not, then IDS won't recognize VCM3 when connecting to the vehicle.

What made you take this decision & go for it, it's an expensive tool to own & maintain annually, what were the challenges with Autel?

In many cases FJDS did not have options that service information suggested. Only in IDS. Im thinking to purchse annual sub which is only $900. Autel is great on fords. I also have forscan. But nothing like using the dealer tool.
Updating the 608 is not bad compared to the ms919. Both are going to expire in the next few months. 608 costs about $900 but the 919 costs about $1500.

Autel did not have it. 😒 I tried autel, snap on and forscan.
That’s kinda redundant to buy the vcm3 because you have a cardaq 3, you can run fdrs on and fjds with. Do you plan on getting the witech?
When u use cardaq with fjds u won't have all the features ids has. Like for example, which I forgot to mention in the video, I was working on 2017 Lincoln continental and the car had u2001 and u3000 codes in the Steering assist control module SACM. Ford recommends to do a reset procedure that is not available in FJDS software, on the IDS its there.
