I have owned a few of these trucks way back when but I can tell you from just sheer observation that there's probably anywhere from $50k to $100k involved in making any old truck this good! If only I would have waited just 1 year to get a new truck I could have gotten this one! Absolutely beautiful...even better looking than my cutest girlfriend!!! :)

Had a 76 with a 390 and 35 inch tires and aluminum slots.Still the most reliable truck I ever owned.THIS ONE IS A FLAT OUT BEAUTY. NOTHING LIKE THE 70 SERIES OF FORDS .THE BEST .

My dad had a rootbeer colored one back then, he had the keys to Masonite( out of Ukiah) property and he would cut wood and hunt there, I remember long trips from there to home in Ukiah on top of the stacked wood in the bed of the truck while he drove on the dirt roads and even on Hwy 101 with our chihuahua on top with me going back home, did that for 5 or 6 yrs ( you could still do that in those days) Many memories, got a 76 ford step side given to me by about 7 yrs ago in good condition, I lived in Paradise and I had to leave it behind in the fire and it was a miracle that the truck barely made it. Still trying to get it back on the road, a lot of damage except the motor. Thanks for the memory!!

Beautiful truck, I had a ‘76 F150 in green with a 360 4 speed manual trans. Living here in upstate NY the road salt did a lot of damage but loved it anyway! This one appears to have a flat spot in the middle of the bed, suggesting it may have had a 5th wheel trailer mount!
First truck I ever worked on was a 78 ranger with a buddy, really got me into trucks. He sold it to his step dad and never seen it again.😢 would love to buy another.

Bad ass Ford truck it reminds me of my 74 F250 i used to have same color 4x4 4sp. I beat the heck out of that truck and she never broke on me i currently have 02 f150 4x4 xlt with 4.6 triton with 378,000 original miles and not one problem still runs like new all iv'e done was install a flowmaster muffler and k/n airfilter best truck iv'e ever owned. Later i sold it to my cousin he than drove it to Mexico and it got stolen never saw it again shame...Correction truck that got stolen in Mexico was the 74 sorry for mix up.
Imagine this truck two tone, Black and Tan 77 model. SWB with the camper special package and automatic behind a 351m/400. Florida Hiway Patrol order. That would have been my dads truck when I was growing up. Offroad, this was a badass truck.
I would love to see a tug of war with a newly built truck of today . Any brand. You know the 75000 dollar models. What a beautiful machine. From a time you got what you paid for. American pride, went into these machines. No outsourced parts. Built to last
Not many 1976 Ford 4X4 F150's left, that was the first year Ford used Japanese steel, and most all of them rusted out in a few years, in the rust belts. This is the best example I have ever seen, much better than factory, and that grill is my favorite! That 390 sucks fuel with a two barrel in a heavy 4X4, first thing I would do is find a factory medium riser intake manifold, and a 4 barrel 600 cfm holley carburetor with vacuum secondaries. Once you fix the distribution with this set up, you can add a little more spark. Performance and mileage do improve. I'm sure that is hard to fathom for most, but it worked, and I have done more then a few that way, and it always repeats. Regardless, that truck is cherry, someones going to get a sweet truck.
Japanese steel? I don't know about that. Mine was built in Norfolk VA in 1976 only rust was in the floor from driving on the beach. I've held real fenders from 76 and aftermarket bs from today. Trust me the older stuff is thicker and made way better.

Beautiful dad on the Ford one or twice or three times I'm not sureI think my sister worked for Ford Company. She took pictures of cars and trucks and vehicles. Are the shocks good are they good shocks? How's the drive shaft is that very good? I had a transmission go out once. I took it to a shop to get it fixed. And they wandled me kept wanting more money more money. I had just had one more payment on my vehicle. That's why I'm asking questions. Not that I can afford any vehicle right now. Just really curious.
Had the Same Truck. With a 390ci granny 1st. Wagon wheel and some Mud tires I Went Anywhere. Baxk in early 2000. She was Rusted out though . .. Now try to Find one Running Not Rotten for under 5k

I love these pick up trucks. These were also produced in Argentina but powered with a 292 V8 and a 221 straight six. Also the bed is shorter.

73 to 76 250 4x4 h-b with 435np and 205np were the most brutal. thayed out work any man, 79 F350 with 70 dana R and 60 dana F were kings,,
