I can totally make a video on this!! It’s super simple for the small items I just tie a knot and pull it around a stitch and tie in the inside. For the big items it just takes some practice I sew around a stitch with mercerized cotton.
@@SiberianStitchery I think I understand but a video would be nice! You've done a great job with your channel and I look forward to watching you grow!! And THANK YOU for linking to the patterns but also giving some pricing ideas. Us newbies struggle with both of these issues as we start out! 🩷
I’m still learning myself but definitely want to share what I have learned cause I know I searched for a starting point when I was wanting to get into markets! I will definitely work on a video in the coming weeks and thank you so much for watching and commenting it means a lot💕
Advice creator to creator: try a simpler background. The yard is perfect and on par for your content, but I recommend making it “prettier” and more pleasing to the eye. Maybe have a cute chair so you’re not on the ground. Just a thought. Your doing great. Love the axolatol and chickens!
The background is realistic and I appreciate that. Once you use yarn it’s a hot mess. The backgrounds of some people’s craft rooms are ridiculously neat, like prop yarn and are never used which is thousands of $ which most people don’t have. I need a yarn winder too. But don’t sweat it, I get it. You don’t always have time to clean and organize when you are preparing for a sale ❤ I appreciate you and all your hard work ❤
@@kat1055 thank you!! Most days I’m happy to get it back on the shelf lol my toxic trait is using it and not putting them back and they just sit on my table 🤪
So you dont care for safety eyes. I made up some cute ghosties that are similar to the one behind you (but palm sized). I used safety eyes. Do you put a warning on your listings if you put them online? I thought about offering to embroider eyes for those who will let little ones play w them.
I have seen people put warnings in their listings and in person when using safety eyes. I don't use safety eyes on any of my products so I don't put out a warning since I embroider all my eyes. If I did use safety eyes I would play it safe and always put some type of safety warning or offer the option for embroidery like you mentioned!
@@SiberianStitchery ok. Do you have a certain way you embroider the eyes? I actually started my crafting career in embroidery so it wouldnt be a problem embroidering them. Maybe do a video on different techniques you use to enhance your items? (Maybe you dont use a lot of techniques lol)
@@tinapeterson4864 I definitely plan on making a video! I mainly use the same two ways. If you have some experience in it I would definitely give it a go, I have just been winging it lol
The 10-minute octopus by @SweetSofties is adorable. Mine took 24 mins (yes, I am sad enough to have timed it! lol) but I crochet slowly. I would encourage anyone to explore her website , she has created so many cute characters that are quick to make and many of her patterns are available for free.
They don’t take me 10 minutes either😅 I’m not that fast unfortunately it’s prob more about 15 for me. She has a lot of cute little patterns, Definitely going to be including more in my next pattern round up video!
Put stretchy ponytail holders or scrunchies on your partially used yarn. That can help keep it contained
good idea! I center pull a lot and then it really ends up a mess and they look all deflated and sad lol I think i could use a yarn winder!
Your channel is growing so quick! Love seeing authentic people succeeding! #Crochet

Love your background of your shelves of yarn..would look great if you arranged by color...
Doesn’t need to be ordered by colour
It was arranged by color at one point, now will so many half skeins it’s gotten out of hand 😂
