That string rifling really picked up at the 60m on the vertical accuracy but the bearing accuracy shined thru every range test best!! Great video Brad this blaster is amazing
It would be cool to see a desctruction capabilities video on these high powered nerf guns. Im curious how much it would hurt to get shot with point blank, and what it would do to soda cans
You should try coating your darts in something to make them less grabby in the barrel to boost velocity, or somehow have a company release a coated barrel for extreme power. I know that Chris Cartaya does his spray wax that takes months, but if you could simply wash your darts in something that would be great. 500 FPS with a short dart would be awesome, and maybe even better if you were abple to weight the darts or make them more aerodynamic, Also, have you looked into homemade rockets? With a amped up Blu Meanie type thing and a more powerful launcher you may be able to do 100m kills across the field which may be fun every now and again, or for some game modes.
You could definitely do all of those things but they are not exactly easy for a regular person. So when I review a blaster I like to keep things stock standard.
The most common dart mod is putting a metal BB inside. The problem with modding darts for Competing is it's time consuming, you have to retrieve them and some Comps probably don't allow BYO darts anyway. But if you're just nerfing with buddies, I say go for it.
I have a geniune question, when do you collect darts? Do you do it after every round? or is it after every game? And how do you tell yours apart from others?
Generally at the end of the day. I'm the only one really using Nerf here so it's not a huge concern whether mine get lost to other people. But if there were others using the same darts I'd initial them or something. Darts are collected end of the day.
Hi Brad. Great video mate. How hard was the 26KG spring to prime? I know the 18.5KG Turf spring for the longshot I needed two hands. I like the idea of getting a larger volume for the plunger tube. I don't think they sell that larger volume for the cheaper versions of the M20? I'm actually trying to decide between this and the Mil Sig m79. In fact, I'm leaning towards the m79 because of semi-auto fire vs the raw power of a manual priming blaster like the M20S.
The 26kg is made significantly easier to prime due to the linear guides in the M20/M20S priming mechanism reducing friction and ensuring that more of your force is directly inline with the spring compression instead of being wasted through the priming mech deflecting and rubbing against the shell as is the case with most other springers. SABRE also makes an 18kg spring that is compatible with both the M20S and the regular M20 if you find that the stock 26kg is too heavy of a spring.
I know that if you tune a Swift properly, shooting the length of a gridiron/soccer feild is very possible if you know what you are doing. Bradleys lobs are my flat shots, and punching 100m + lobs is not a problem with the SWIFT I own. Max range on my SWIFT recorded by members at my club, 124m.
@@nerferx what type of barrel spring combo are you running? also the swift only has a single size of plunger tubes right or did you mod it to have a larger one?
Is there a trick to achieving 280ish fps? I get 250fps with my m20s using 14kg spring. Perfect seal. I have tried multiple different barrels. Saber 500mm, 650mm, 500mm worker, gos 350mm and 450mm caliburn 0.509. It is the 450mm 0.509 barrel i achieve the highest fps with (250ex bcar and 240inc saber bcar). Ps: using worker gen3+ and or worker gen2. Gen 2 have a slight edge on gen3+ on some of the barrels
Calling a sample size of 5 shots a grouping is a bit farfetched. With 20 at least, this would be a much more accurate representation of the differences
Watched that and My SBL is hitting that range and cost a whole lot less , sure the quality is great but I could buy and upgrade and have change for a fancy new hat
@@conradsng2447 I can verify this as he plays at my club, the Lynxs hit that range too, and so do all the SBLs at the club. We have range of 200f-220fps blasters at the club that can hit the ranges of the M20S, just takes a little longer to get there, but they can do it.
The B.C of those darts is so low lol. If you could shoot a longer dart with a tapered tail that's heavier the SD would go up and the B.C would hugely increase. In fact if you could simply shoot a dart that's 1 inch longer with a 25% weight increase with a tapered tail of the last 25% of the dart your B.C would increase nearly 100%. That would mean MUCH FASTER time of flight to target, much less wind drift, much much less drop.
It would be too difficult to do such a video because different people have different needs. Perhaps your group plays 300fps. Or only 130fps. The answer would change.
@@hockeydude6312 The Lynx is a fantastic blaster, and is very easily scalable by swapping out the springs to adjust power, the nexus is also a resonalble blaster for the money, and again very scalable on the power, so either would suit any game style or play style based on the requirements. Pesonally, I would spend a little more and get the Lynx, as it will suit CQB arena's and lower fps days in a pinch, but being that the barrel is easily interchangeable, like the spring, (something that you need to open the entire blaster up on with the Nexus) you can go from full CQB to Sniper in minutes, just by quickly swapping out 2 very simple parts.
Actually this sniper version is to complete the series of SABRE M20. M20 was designed for quick play. M20S was specifically designed for long range accuracy.
@@conradsng2447 it has accuracy for the range it has, but it massively under performs for the scale of the plunger tube. A SWIFT can do what this new variant of the sabre does, with very little being spent, really just a good brass barrel and a few orings,. and will out perform the M20S easily, with out smashing your wallet.
@@nerferx You'd think maybe others would have done the same if it was so simple as you say. But as of now, it's a, 'trust me bro' swift against an actual m20s being shown. I'll happily smash my wallet.
This is a $900 Nerf gun, I realize it functions like a standard airsoft sniper but for that price you could literally build an actual AR15… if this company wants to go anywhere they need to decrease their price by 3 times at least
@@TazyBaby While it is very expensive, I don't think this blaster was designed to compete with airsoft guns. Instead, it seems intended to cater to the very specific niche that both wants a crazy good nerf blaster and has cash to burn. Not to mention that most Nerf wars do not allow gel blaster, airsoft guns, or any other non-dart firing blaster, so saying "just go buy an airsoft gun instead" just doesn't make very much sense.

Sold out, anyone selling one?
Hi Brad, a quick question, if i am only going to buy 1 blaster, will it be QWK Challenger MK3 Max Pro or the Sabre M20S
I would really like to see a breakdown of “best in class” for various price ranges from you for the long range game
There aren't really enough options of blasters to do that. Cheapest is Worker Swift / ZWQ S100. Then it would step up straight to something like this.
No way that freaking nerf gun shoots faster than my pellet gun
Bleeding edge foam flinging content. Thank you, Bradley.

But if you bought the gun nothing would ever be “out of range” 😂

This blaster is sold online at Sabre's website. They ship from Singapore.
I consider buying this until I saw the price💀 great vid, as always!
WHAT A BEAST!
How was your arm feeling after a day of pumping the 26kg spring?
Surprisingly fine. Think the linear guide rails helped.
Pumping a 26kg Nerf Rifle is probably like drawing a 60lb bpw but easier due to the Fore Grip.
