Thank you for going over my webpage and bringing this information to the many fans of the 1966 Batmobile who haven't seen it before. I created that webpage and timeline around 2007 by watching the show, taking notes and grabbing screen captures and it was available to all during the production time of your 1/6th '66. This 3rd season look was not a new car, not a new reveal, but just a series of progressive changes needed to a "prop" during the run of a tv show. I believe that 90%+ of people (probably higher) do not know the changes that were made and these details are only important to the historians and those who have studied and have loved the car over all these years on the various webboards. I would not be interested in this. You produced the car in details that most know and how it first appeared and I am grateful to have one and to have helped make it so great! If this is an opportunity to release another '66 version for those who missed out the first time or just for more revenue, that is your choice. Maybe think about selling a separate conversion kit to bring it back to the 1st season look, that way whoever wants to approximate the 1st season car they can convert it themselves. I think it’s a bit of toy/collectible snobbery to refuse rereleases or 2.0’s Especially when the wait list is there, and the funds are there. I respect the loyalty to the initial supporters, but some people may only have caught wind of items being available late in the game. Just my opinion, maybe the original car with improved lighting design.
I think it's a good idea for those who did not get the first batmobile 66 when out . Now they can enjoy this version of 68 and looks very nice . But please don't forget to get the Green Hornet's Black Beauty as I believe the duo gh and kato showed up in the 3rd season of probably the most iconic batman episode ever.

I have to say I agree with this sentiment. I own the 1966 and would have no problem at all with Joost running another batch or putting them into production again, or as a cycle every few years, so everyone who wants one can get one. Had the 1966 been released during the lockdowns, I wouldn't have been able to get one. Things happen, life gets in the way, and having to miss out on something so glorious as the 1966 Batmobile due to temporary financial woes would only make one feel worse. As i see it, this would still essentially be a 2.0 release. I certainly understand the reasoning behind this, but I'm not so sure this is such a good idea. It does seem to go against what was promised about no re-release, even with the proposed changes ... I would honelstly be disappointed if this were released.
In my opinion, this is a blatant cash grab that completely devalues customers who purchased the original ’66 Batmobile. This approach mirrors what Hot Toys began doing four years ago, leading to significant depreciation of their figures and necessitating a 50% reduction in production. If Joost decides to release this, I will no longer be a customer.
@@pappyis1 you can say what you want but business 101 is the moment you saturate the market with a product the demand for future products fall. And his clever wording about not doing reissues doesn’t fly with me. This is a reissue. Go back and check Hot Toys eBay prices before they reissued the mark 47.
Lol.. bye. Of course Joost wants to continue to make money while at the same time making Batman fans happy. I have my 66.. and Id be happy for all that want one to be able to get it.
Joost. Been a long supporter of your products from way back. Have bought many items. If you make another Batmobile 1966 I will seriously never buy another thing. It is a massive massive slap in our faces. Do not go back and remake stuff. People had literally YEARS to buy this. You advertised last orders many many times. Make something else. I’ve support you against people like Danoby and will nit be abject to any more. If people missed out that is just tough luck. Leave this alone please.
Couldn't agree more. Why not do something completely new? I own several Jazzinc vehicles but that's it for me if they're just going to reissue basically the same thing and no I'm not a scalper or reseller.
I have one and it's not a slap to my face. I'm happy for those who will have the opportunity to own a 1/6 scale 1966 Batmobile. I've encountered many Batman fans who had not the opportunity to acquire for various reasons only to have that later down the line but it was already too late; or who didn't even know that such a run even existed until much later. So yes, I'm all for this 3rd season Batmobile for those who could not and did not participate in the original run.
I think this will negatively impact the value and exclusivity of owning the original car. Your long-established practice of no re-issues is part of what justifies paying the high cost of purchasing one of your models. You said it yourself, it's a slap in the face to the original purchasers. If it is money you are chasing with this idea, and you go ahead and build it, not only does it need to be strikingly different than the original car, building it also in a smaller scale. That would at least help in differentiating it significantly from the original and help preserve the value of having purchased it from you. Of course, then you can't use some of your original molds and tooling. However, if you are going to go against your re-issue practice and impact the value of the original, it should cost you too.
I am sorry, but there are a few things here I really do not agree with and are factually incorrect. First of all, we do not sell investment opportunities, but limited edition collectibles that will not be remade as they are. The price you pay is not for the investment opportunity, but that is the cost of making a vehicle of such limited edition. No other company can even viably make such limited editions, and that is thanks to our almost nonexistent overhead and low margins, so that determines the price, not the investment opportunity. Also, I will not be able to reuse any of the molds. There are two reasons for this, one being that, they were used up last time and cannot be used again, and secondly, no main part is the same, not the doors, not the rear half of the car, not the windows, not the dashboard, not the arch, not the wheels or the rims, and not evenmost of the front so this is already a vast difference. Much more than even the back to the future to DeLorean versus the first vehicle. Add to that a completely different painted job and it is as different as any of these vehicles can be.
@@JazzIncdioramas I am not talking about having purchased it as an investment opportunity. I purchased mine because of the exclusivity of having it together with my other 1966 models. I will have it till I die, and my kids probably won't even care about it when I am gone. What you will do is turn owning a Jazzinc 1966 Batmobile into WHICH Jazzinc 1966 Batmobile do you own? Then the inevitable argument as to which issue is better or preferred or more collectible will ensue. At least do it in a different scale.
Awh too bad for you 😪. Joost has a business to run that you don't dictate. Plus the 68 Batmobile won't have all the bells and whistles y'all have for the 66. So calm down.
Nice idea. But if you are going to do this, then might as well find a way to do a 2.0 of some favorite Star Wars items that newcomers missed like the Land speeder and Bespin dioramas. Not everyone forgave you for the Snyder mobile so might as well go all the way with other things. 🫣
2.0 suggests upgrades or changes. Just re-release the originals again. Make money. Forget exclusivity. Even Hot Toys rereleases figures. If they didn't, I would have missed out on the Dark Knight Rises Selena Kyle. Instead, I just got her in the rerelease.

Make another 66 BM and you lose a great client!!
Good riddance! Lol
Bye Felicia! 👋🏻
Don’t know how to feel about this. My gut says it’s not a good idea.
Star Wars fans dont buy as much as Batman fans, thats why he is even reconsidering making more Star Wars products, let alone 2.0s
I for one am glad Zack asked Joost to do a run of the BvS Batmobile since I missed out on the initial one.
@@1515cci same, im getting mine tomorrow
why not do the 66 black beauty from the green hornet.remember its the boomer generation that has the deep pockets for this stuff.
