Made me respect Mr. Allen even more. I’m proud to be an American who has been benefiting from his outstanding strength of character! His ability to own the mistakes and make the right decision for himself is a testament to his courage and dedication to doing and being the amazing man he is today. Truly an American legend who embodies the spirit of what it means to be a man.
Sometimes in life there will be something you have to do, one way or another, to try. If you leave it too long it will become missed opportunity and regret. Identify these, they are obvious if they keep coming back. Confront them. Check the box, success or fail. No regrets.
As a retired military vet watching Mr.Ballen's TH-cam videos helped fill the void in my life from leaving the military. It is hard to loose the foundation of your lifestyle, service, and motivation. It's nice to see something that reminds you of home.
The content found on the Mr. Ballen TH-cam/podcast is the BEST OF THE BEST! I’ve enjoyed 100+ hours (and he completely downplays his military service). Even if I didn’t know his background, I would say he is like the Navy Seal of narration.
You don't understand the culture. He uses the word "friend" but this has more in common with something like the priesthood. Which sounds like a strange analogy but hear me out. If two guys go through seminary together and enter the priesthood together, that means they've taken specific vows to behave in a certain way. Its a type of brotherhood. And you belong to the brotherhood of priests as long as you behave and live up to the vows of a priest. Now, let's say one of those priests gets caught embezlling money from the church. He can expect to be ostracized by other priests because his behavior brought shame on their brotherhood. On their "community." That is the relationship between Navy Seals. You're a part of the brotherhood. And fellow seals remain your brothers as long as you conduct yourself in a way that brings honor to the brotherhood.
Theres alot of seal sellouts. Some marines do similar stuff. It was supposed to be a code of honor. Now its like “I was tough, now I’m gunna get rich off of it” social media is destroying our future. This will lead to kids joining the seals for the most horribly selfish reasons. Which will be very bad
These “Kids” you speak of won’t even make it through the initial physical assessment phase prior to BUDS, why are you being so critical of John?? He seems to have paid for his Sins against the SEAL Brotherhood!
And why shouldn't they get rich off of it? People are interested in their stories and what they've gone through. Don't you think they deserve to make a comfortable living after giving their bodies for us? They def deserve it more than the politicians and celebs
The seal shit is so stupid. Not everyone who serves should have to take a shitty job after putting their life on the line if they can just talk about it for a living. Every one of those seals talking shit would have done the same thing if they had the charisma to do it. Just hating on a guy for monetizing their situation when they themselves cant.
Ugh. This you'll regret ... on your death dead bs is so overblown and annoying. Of course you'll have stupid thoughts on your death bed. That's how the mind works for most people. Regret is a choice at the end of the day.
Never get tired of listening to MrBallen. He's definitely among the best storytellers out there. Could listen to him all day.

Never knew about the Mr Ballen podcast and once I did I spend every little minute looking for new stories from the Mr Ballen portfolio.

Love me Mr. Ballen!!!!❤
The only operator online who is really a good guy
There are plenty of good operators online. They may not all be perfect, but they’re still amazing people
@@Djamieson713you met all of them?
Just because you see how they act with a camera on their face, doesn’t mean you know them.
I checked all my boxes
Oh and buck rogers really good guy even as a cop lol 😂
I know Mr Allen but have no idea who the interviewer is.
I think the thoughts of his navy seal friend's are EGO driven ( not real friends ) tbh Mr Ballen is the best story teller on the internet

And Jessie Ventura wish he was president

Actually regret isn’t really a choice, sure you try & convince yourself & others through denial but the end of the day regret is not a choice.
I’m 68, 26 year veteran army and Air Force. Many miscues before finding what worked for me!
👍🏽
Now we have those wannabes like Tim Kennedy, Rob O’Neil and others whose stories are so far out you know they’re bullshit!!
