Laughing in the face of adversity, so British, (I do it myself). Rode to Barmouth on Saturday from Southport, great roads, better weather! Fantastic drone views and that engine also sounds Fantastic.
Great video! Thanks. On my '25 R3 R Storm, I've got the OEM bags, installed a Power Bronze midsized windscreen, and their handguards, and I use a full face helmet, all to make a huge difference when touring. Enjoyed watching your trip. Thx (BTW: Unzipped the saddlebag liners, use as seperate bags that can be lifted in and out easily, use one bag for rain, cold gear, tools, cleaning supplies, and other for my clothes, toiletries - that's it, no other bags. I use hotels or cabins on my trips.)
Bloody good idea ! I do prefer an open face, better to talk to the camera as well but does mean I get a face full at time. Go safe. Thanks for watching.
Just invested in a garmin zumo xt2 sat nav for the rocket, great product and even better when paired with garmin tread app , no more concerns about fuel stops or lost signal.
Sounds like a good idea. Almost certainly will not get one 🤣🤣🤣. Must just like making life difficult for myself. Good fun getting lost. Thanks very much for the tip and for watching.
I'd call that a lot of rain Scott no need for a shower later, black skies, wind, rain not good biking weather, good job for waterproofs. Good one to watch not so good for you.
Ace video mate, cool footage too 👍🏻 😂🤣😂 @ the Team America clip and yes I did watch it twice 😉 Hope you dried out pal, ride safe and keep up the great work 🫡
Ah you've just reminded me about that 20mph limit all over the place. We were looking at West Wales for our September holiday, will give it a miss and go Cornwall or the lake District...
An idyllic start to the ride mate, excellent drone footage & I was vicariously riding along with you , then suddenly when it started raining I was transported back home here to Sweden & how it's been nearly the whole bloody summer 😂 🌧🌧🌦🌧🌧
The Vic in Llanbedr is a mile from where I live, you could have called round for a cuppa!! The toll bridge is at a place called Penmaenpool on the river Mawddach a beautiful part of Wales.
epic adventures, the rain still didn't ruin the mood . or did it all go pete tonge on the next vid. Scott weater than an otters pocket traveling the south coast of Wales. you need a life jacket by the looks of you haha.
Bloody paddles 😅. It's only water. Feet did not dry for the entire day, that bike throws up SO much water. Not to worry, didnt wreak the day, it would take more than that. Thanks
For sure !!!! Any chance of rain, clouds, bit cooler weather, too many fly's, dirty roads, load noises, sheep, anything like that and I'm inside and the bikes in the garage. 🤣
How about your back didn't that get soaking wet as well, the rear tyre acts like a power shower in the rain. The first time I rode on wet roads my back was clarted with mud right to the top of my helmet, thankfully I wear textiles so I was fairly dry myself. I bought a Power Bronze rear hugger fitting it was an absolute nightmare, the holes didn't line up and there supplied bolts were crap. Now it's fitted though it does stop a good bit of the fling from that 240 rear tyre, I also fitted a taller touring screen which reflects a good deal of wind and rain.
I was actually ok at the rear but my bag got the whole lot of it. The Triumph dealer had said that the tail tidy kit actually stops a loads of the rear crap. They are just not cheap. Look good though. Small price to pay for such an amazing bike.
I did have a mini but it died on me after attacking a large tree it didn't like the look of. The tree won. I've got a Mavic 3 now. It better for me and it's loads larger and can handle the wind better. Thanks for watching.
Just a quick question...when you took the early morning run to Harlech castle and we're returning for breakfast why didn't you leave most of your gear at the hotel and just take the drone 😅
Good question. I knew I had loads of miles to do that day and would have preferred to get off on the road earlier than after 8 which was the earliest i could have breakfast. So I though if I loaded the bike and everything was ready I could thrown my breakfast down myself and head straight out.
@@1guyaharleyandadrone657 makes sense now 😊 looking forward to your next installment. Heading down mid south Wales in a couple of weeks do hope the weather is kind to us and we don't get the downpour you encountered
I would say you have learned a lesson, not taking your Wets on anything other than a day out on the Rocket! Powerbronze have no tall screens in at the moment so waiting on new screen, to assist a smoother ride, more so on the motorways. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about having good weather protection on a Rocket, enjoy the good days & limited the possible chance of rain days to your Harley ?? They do say you need a 2nd bike when owning a Rocket 3 ?! Looks like they are correctomundo!
That screen makes a massive difference at higher speeds. Its not like a tall tall screen like I had on the Triumph Tiger but its a LOT better than the stock screen. Yeh I have found out just how much the Rocket throws up. MASSIVE amounts but in my eyes small price to pay for such a mega bike.
OMG SO SO hot . All of the reviews before i brought the bike said you will have bloody warm legs. Great to dry your trousers and I image good in winter. The whole engine gives of a lot of heat.

Cheers matey, yeh great roads all round there. Better without a downpour granted 🤣. It is a beauty.
Watching your adventures in the rain makes me appreciate my windshield that much more.
And another nice hilltop property with a view.
I know yeh, lovely place but maybe a bit draughty. Bet the bloody heating bills are massive.

🤣It is just the best movie. I'd watched it for the 157 th time not long before so it was in my head. Thanks very much.

Of course 😂
Character building! There is getting cold n wet THEN there is getting cold n wet on a BIKE... Great vid, will give your others a look 🖖👍😜
Yeh, there is a big difference which you sound like you know. Thanks very much and enjoy. 👍

They are a total pain in the ass. TOTALLY UNNESSESARY IN EVERY WAY. NOT THAT I'M UPSET ABOUT IT AT ALL. 🤣 Don't even think i mentioned it 🤣

I can't expect a whole trip without rain. I take it the trip to England is totally off then.
Loved your vids from the start but missing the Road King big time. 😊
It will be back. Needs an MOT so I've got to sort out the rear light which will be a pain in the ass finding one. Thanks very much.
Peninsula motorcycles Wallasey UK. Try them for a rear light Scott @@1guyaharleyandadrone657
@@mikejacks1939 You total star. I'll have a look. Thanks
Well you've done it again with another entertaining video and you seem to be heading the right way 😉 👍. Enjoy the ride Scott.
Thanks so much. The weather does change, thank god and the sun makings an appearance. Thanks for watching.

Nice tune for the castle vid. Loving the trip.
Thank you. It was great and just amazing to get some miles done on the Triumph. 👍
He’s a fair weather rider, our Scott..
