    Always remember to use state edict to reduce dev cost when spawning institution, and upgrade trade center to lvl 2 for additional dev cost bonus 😅
    Not to mention in 1.35, you can grant a privilege which makes churches reduce dev cost

    Excellent playthrough. I do think it was a bit of a mistake to take so much from Ming when you seized the mandate, though, because you can get all those cores for free just by sieging it down with the unite china CB. Grabbing money from them (they are the bank of Ming, after all...lol) and securing the imperial cities you need to keep the mandate high as well as some territory to Isolate them from their greedy neighbors might have been better.

    I like the idea of taking a slower pace to unifying Japan, every time I try to speed rush it I end up absolutely wrecking the country and it takes forever to restabilize it. Still, 1500 for unification is pretty rough, I think I'd do a few less Show of Strengths and try to get it done by like 1480.

    EDIT: Maybe you prefer not to focus on details how to do it the way i prefer, if you do, I won't watch (sorry if i sound too rude)
    But It's very refreshing how u made the video...
    Pick the dev cost thingy(sorry i forgot the word) and also check so burghers are at 60%+ loyalty, also check whenever you have 50% cost reduced +2 diplo advisor which u had when picking for +200 adm and diplo event... But you picked lvl 1 advisor... Also your playstyle is very very good... Smooth like butter... I would like to see how you develop your skillset eventually... You know some things that I don't know so please again dont take my comment harshly, i learned new things from you today... Like the idea -5% event that happens if you pick humanist... If you know what i was commenting here already then don't mind it... Anyway i like this video... But idk if you can make them this long since most folks tend to focus on shorter videos... There really is no point in taking anything from china in this war, since you declared it with "Claim Mandate of Heaven" CB.
    In the next war you would have a "Unify China" CB, which grants you cores for all occupied provinces in China subcontinent.
    So if you wait for the next war to start taking their provinces, it'll save you sth like 1000 admin points

    I keep having to restart because Ashikaga ends up either diplo annexing or declaring war on enough daimyo's to get too big to full annex. I definitely like the idea of multiple show of strengths in order to get mana out the ass, but it just takes too long. How did you manage to keep ashikaga small? They didn't grow by a single province in your game. In my game it is 1460 and they have nearly half of japan.

    • @TripleZHacker
      @TripleZHacker  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I noticed that recently the ashikaga do that, idk why it happens or how prevalent it is, they didn’t do it in the initial 1.35 patch but now after later patches it happens much more, so yeah you might only get a few show of strengths in. If you see ashikaga annexing you might just have to speedform Japan

    Literally playing Japan right now and I've just noticed that because I'm missing 1 DLC (Dharma I'm quite sure, could be Domination too though) it is literally impossible for me to make an equal amount of money as you are at that stage of the game. I went full on conquest at first, owning the entirety of China by 1550 and tried colonizing the Americas but I was immediately kicked out. Now I'm doing a run going colonization, my economy actually helps a ton but it's still like 1580 now and I'm barely making more of a surplus than you are! And I'm mounting about 70k men. Really weird and honestly annoying that all the DLC does is just make your economy more op.

    I still don't understand how you managed to get this lucky.
    Whatever playthrough I tried, litterally a couple dozen, after the initial couple show of strenght wins, everyone around you alies too many daimyo and your forces get wiped, or you end up going so far in debt you can never get out. Once you break one promise land, others won't join your wars with the same promise, even with favors. As a result, unifying Japan takes a lot longer than 1500.
    That fantastic start is what in turn keeps your tech very high, and makes korea afraid to engage you when you land on their shores. Otherwise they get a hefty bonus for that disembark penalty.
    Also, I tend to play quite a bit in that region, japan, philippines, south east asia nations. You attacked a pretty much full solid ming at 1537. In more than half of my games, ming has released the south by 1510, and completely collapsed by 1530. I have several saves where without any interference, Ming is completely gone at 1530, replaced by shun, or some other entity as emperor. In lots of games, the emperor title doesn't exist at 1540.
    I'm calling console shenanigans.

    • @TripleZHacker
      @TripleZHacker  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No console commands whatsoever some unify Japan without show of strength and if you manage to pick the right fights and get ahead of military tech you should beat everyone in the Sengoku Jidai. There have been a few patches since this video so again things have changed a bit. In certain runs sometimes the Ashikaga begin to annex daimyo so you have to unify Japan faster and not get so many show of strengths also yeah Korea/Ming is rng too. Every run is different that’s why making guides are difficult for this game you just have to adapt to the circumstances and rng you receive in your run.

      @ Pain.......thanks for letting me know. I have struggled with manpower during the run and had to slow down my pace a few times for it to recover, I thought it was just due to attrition but now it makes way more sense. I simply didn't pay close attention to it since I thought it was just the cost of the units not their actual manpower.

      Using extra mil points to dev for base manpower and also making sure to not take attrition with forts and conserving manpower between wars
