Loving this 1000 video series. I can't thank you enough for doing it. Definitely will help me know what to do to mine to make it even better. Keep it up and i hope you get the power steering figured out/fixed aince that sure is nice to have.
Thank you 🙏
I like this topic. Very interesting to learn this stuff. Thanks for the education.
Your very welcome 🙏
I don't have a quad or SxS - watching your channel makes me want to get the Force 1000...
Heck yes 🙌
Thank you for this free trick 👍👍👍
Your welcome 🙏
So I have a 2023 600T and I definitely have the low gear speed limiter. My question is, can I just disconnect the gear position sensor? It's My understanding the only downside would be that the meter display won't read L, H, N, R, or P..... Which would be fine with me. This way I don't have to worry about cutting the wrong wire or voiding warranty. Also if I wanted to sell it I can just plug it back in and it's back to OEM spec. If you could let me know if this would work also that would be great 👍🏻 Thanks for the my helpful video
Thank you for sharing this tricks 💪👍
Your welcome 🙏
Awesome information Steve. Thanks for the video! I had my ECU flashed By Ray amd thought this low speed limiter would be removed. I thought wrong as I guess that can't be removed via tune.
It actually can be. And he should have.
@@R.N.GPerformance I asked him about it via email and he said he removed all "limiters" he could find. He said if I found someone else that could remove it that he would flash it back to stock and refund me. It took 2 weeks for him to flash it the first time (not complaining) but sending it back to him and then to another shop to tune it again, not going to happen. I will just do what you did. Then I won't have a month of downtime mailing my ECU all over the place. Too afraid it will get lost or damaged in transit. It was shipped back to me with the basic insurance of 100 bucks. I insured it for 1300 when I sent it to him because I don't think it could be replaced and re-tuned for 100 dollars.
Is it bad to go that fast in low?
@@carlcraig9749 bouncing off the rev limiter all the time isn't great. Going fast in low without hitting the limiter isn't bad.
You should get yourself a pin tool and just push that connection out of the block instead of cutting the wire. That way, if a customer gets it done and wants to go back (for whatever reason) you can just push the pin back in.
I have one. Lol. I just wanted to do it this way. But I did show in a previous video how to push the pin out.
@@R.N.GPerformance who would really want this limiter to be reactivated? Leave the pin in to maintain environmental sealing of the ECU plug. Cut it further up the harness and seal the wires, that way you could repair it if that need ever arise.
Whats the cost to do delete
Great video useful info Thanks . My question is why not just de-pin the low sense wire at the transmission sensor and nicely shrink tube the wire to protect it from the elements and corrosion. Then if at some point user desires to return to stock they can easily . Enjoying the channel thanks again
Because I still want it to register on the dash. Thank you 🙏
you're a genius thanks
Your welcome 🙏
always wanted an overland. love how she sounds
Thank you 🙏
I regret buying the overland. It keeps overheating even with the fan running at full speed
All those beans makes me feel like I’m in Boston! Lol
Lol
Did you find out what happened to the power steering? Good video on the rev limit delete
Not yet. It comes and gos. I think it’s the control unit.
Bonjour et merci pour cet vidéo
J’ai un cforce 520 je viens de regarder ma prise ecu et plus petite comment trouver le bon câble à supprimer
Merci d’avance
your smart i would have never figured it out
I try lol. Thank you 🙏
Hey there, love your vids, i just bought a 22 overland 1000 and ya the low gear speed restriction is stupid. My question is why couldnt a guy just wire up the overide button on the left controls to always be on? Wouldnt that be alot easier? Could maybe even add a switch if a guy still wanted it activated.
Anything is possible
Do you know what wire it is on the cforce 800xc
Hi RNG thanks for the great content for these awesome machines, I’m looking to limit the throttle on my 2017 Zforce trail 800 as it’s a rental for my business I’d like to reduce it to 30mph max speed. Can you help? Thanks in advance
Hello. Which pin will be for fast gear?
Shoot yeah that annoying low speed limiter I can’t wait to do mine and get it flashed good video by the way
Thank you 🙏
Just wondering if cf moto has work mode and if so can it be changed
Thanks bro
Yw.
I was wondering if you know how to eliminate the day time running lights I’m running a 21 800 xc. And it drives me nuts that you can’t turn lights off. Hopefully this is something that you would consider showing us. Love your channel
I’ll definitely look in to it soon as I have some spare time for sure. Thank you 🙏
Why do the lights bother you ,you can't see them and in fact it's a safety thing that allows other riders to see you yes even in the daytime,,be like running your motorcycle with the lights off and then wondering why cars keep pulling out in front of you,, leave the lights on
Can this low gear speed limiter be done on the2015 zforce 800 ex?
Is it the same wire and procedure for the zforce 800?
You would need to look at the wire diagram and see buddy
So how can I get a legible copy of that schematic. The ones I see on the internet are either too small, or too blurry when I try to zoom in.
Any chance you could do a limiter mod video for our 500 CFORCE 2022's? Thanks
This video shows you how to do that.
Cf Moto wants you to ride trails in low but on the cforce 800 xc it only goes 23 mph in low. I really need trails at least 30 35 min so I have to stay in high
Limiter delete
I have a 2022 Cforce 600 touring like yourself. would it be alright if i ran maxima 10w40?
Yes sir
Next wheeler I get is going to be the Overland.
Pretty awesome unit for sure
Is there any concern about the belt speed in low range at that speed / engine rpm?
No
Hi, i know I might be a little late but where did you find the wiring diagram?
Dealer
hi, im owning the 2022 year cf moto 1000. So my question is when im unpin the high gear wire can i get higher speed or? the dealer tells me i need to buy new ecu with no speed limits, but now i saw your video and im thinking this is not the ecu problem?
I’m not familiar with a speed limit in high gear.
can you send me the diagram of the wires?@@R.N.GPerformance
So I contacted Ray parker yesterday,,asked about what the flash can do, was informed the speed limiter can't be removed,,the rev limiter is non adjustable,,all the tune will accomplish is richen the fuel air to try to get engine to run cooler,,I guess that may be why it's $149 don't really do anything that a simple piggyback fuel commander will,, guess I just leave it stock and put the coin in the fuel tank
He adjusted my limiters on my z800
And he told me he would remove the limiter on my overland.
Found out on my 2022 cfmoto 800xc that 20 mile an hour limiter in low is dumb.. I need to address that but I would really not want to cut a wire though..😬😬😬
You can pay a bunch of money for a tune that isn’t worth the bunch of money that they want that’s always an option
@@R.N.GPerformance that doesn't sound to promising lol
Can you remove the limiter in 4wd like on the zforce 950?
Should be able to
Is it the same for a u force 1000 2023 ? Thanks !
Similar. That will be the same as the 950 video I done.
Probably messing around with the wiring or putting in the new exhaust must’ve caused your power steering issue
Didn’t touch any wiring at all.
Is there a reason why we would want to do this other than we can? I am in no way bashing just trying to understand. I was under the assumption low was for more torque and power at low speed given a difficult terrain
Multiple reasons. 20MPH comes up pretty quick specially when clutched. Any tire spin at all will hit 20mph. It’s a safety hazard in my opinion try hitting a hill half way up limiter kicks in.
@@R.N.GPerformancewhat's worse is being in a situation that you need more wheel speed and having to reach across the quad to hit the override button and trying to modulate the throttle while reaching from the side in a precarious position.
i wonder if its the same on a 2023 800xc
Similar.
Does this work for the 2022 CForce 800?
It would yes. Might be different wire tho
I have cfmoto cforce 600 2023 and low gear limiter ,this is work on my cf ?
Did you get it to work on your bike?
@@MrRenardnixon yes, its work
Same as this video?
Where can I find a wire diagram for 1000xl
Dealer should have a repair manual
Did this on my uforce 1000 mfer rips now
Yes sir.
Anyone have wiring diagram for - 2023, CF1000AU-F ??? Cant find it....
Dealer should have one.
@@R.N.GPerformance they should but will they share it… will ask next time I wisit them.
Does all this void warranty?
Oh absolutely 💯
U do the same thing to a 600T..... it's terrible........ ?
Should be able to. Just follow my directions on how to read the wire diagram.
Is this same as the 850 xc 👍🏼
This is the 1000 overland. Very similar unit
@@R.N.GPerformance yeah but can you do the same to the 850xc I can’t find the wire diagram for it thanks my friend 👍🏼
I have 850xc 2020. Do you know was the same pin?
Why you want to go fast on low gear please explain me that.. if you want to go fast just put it on hi and send it ! Am i the only one who's driving those shit boxes like i stole them ? Every hills i climb im riding like 40 miles a hour or more.. i don't get it.. riding on low speed sucks.. the engine want to get and scream is life at like 8000 rpm and you barely move.. whats the point ?
I live off grid on a mountain in northern Alaska. I'm usually hauling some supplies uphill on my way home in a small tow behind lawn cart. I obviously have my machine in low gear..... Oh wait, shit a grizzly just popped out on my trail and she's chasing me. If I can't haul ass and rip off I'm toast!!! The low gear speed limiter doesn't let you travel over 16-19mph. My older model doesn't have a speed limiter and I could in an emergency punch it to 35 in low without over reving rps. That's why we want to go fast in low gear lol
This works with a cforce 600
Sweeeet
Was supposed to be a question lol missed a ?
Is that a 22 or a 23 year model
23
@@R.N.GPerformance mines a 22 I wonder if it is the same wire, and btw your true duals are kick ass did you notice any problem or did you have the ecu flashed for them
