Went to the northeast with family in 2017. My father is the calmest person I've ever known, but once we set foot in Meghalaya, he was jumping like a kid with joy at all the beautiful scenery. Definitely a must visit!!!

A very Well informed guide..as a Khasi myself who love to trek and hitchhike I long to visit all these cool places..there's still tons of beautiful places in Meghalaya that still need to be explored..some people I've seen who complains about entry fares and parking fares in each and every popular tourist place but unbeknownst to most the fares collected are use for maintaining and cleaning these popular spots.

You came to Mizoram some time ago, You are back in India, I bet you like it that much. About the Betel-nut thing. There are lots of varieties of Betel-nut in India, In Megalaya they are called "KUAI" in other part of India they are know as "PAN". Many other types of PAN like Meethra-Pan. Zarda-Pan, etc. Here in Mizoram it is very popular too, we called it "KUHVA" we have 2 type, "KUHVA HRING" ang "KUHVA-RO" we also have the other Pan too. You can get addicted to these betel-nut. You should do a content about Betel nut, they are everywhere in India, go to any states they will have different kind of betel nut with many other varieties. You are amazed by the amount of Kuai they have in a day, some folks have 50 to 100 Kuai a day. 😁
