The original Le Male is absolutely one of my all time favorite scents...ever. It was/is that fragrance that just "captivated" me. The vanilla, and mint are just magic in the cool/cold air. It's definitely the bottle that I will often grab off the shelf, simply to smell the atomizer, Lol. One flanker I don't hear much about (which is fantastic) is the Le Male Essence de Parfum. Cardamom, cinnamon, vanilla, leather. Really really nice!!
I got ultramale yesterday and I was disappointed, I just smelled sweet cinnamon and vanilla, smelling like a cinnamon raisin bagel. But 8 hour's later I resprayed it and now im starting to love it. For some strange reason I didn't get the pear note or the la male notes the first time, but now I smell the fruity subtle freshness mixed with cinnamon and vanilla. I was even considering returning it.
definitely 3 separate fragrances for 3 separate occasions, I can find ultra male I little annoying after a while, really really sweet and the new parfum isn't ground breaking but is nice enough i guess but leaves me a little bit disappointed. Love JPG though

I’ve already purchased La Male Le Parfume, which I love especially for the fall/winter, but I’m stuck between Le Male original or Ultra male for the spring/summer. What do you recommend?
I definitely agree that each flanker targets a different demographic, even in terms of age. I still think Le Parfum is nowhere near as distinct as the original, but I can certainly see many youngsters preferring it to Essence de Parfum - which is my personal favourite. I'd love to see a different riff on Eau Fraiche though - like Mugler did with Ultra Zest. Le Male Kool-aid Eau Fraiche. Oh yeeeea! 🧃
It’s just all so subjective. Ultra Male doesn’t really work for me. A bit too sweet and youthful for general wearings but I do like they kept a little of the freshness from the OG. Le Male, on the other hand, is a favorite of mine, it’s a sexy barbershop fragrance! I enjoy its freshness, the mint, lavender and vanilla works great along with a nice white musk aftershave after a “S,S&S” and I can wear it to work in a suit or happy hour confidently, given it’s playful but mature nature. I don’t have any fond memories attached to it considering I’ve only started wearing it a couple years back, I just like the composition. After all, it is a classic at which has stood the test of time, and can still effortlessly draw compliments for me. As well as it’s niche counterpart, Reflection Man 😉

I don't understand the comparison. Le male Original is for me different than ultra-male. Smells better than Ultra-male.. Ultra male smells like summer.. Le male is exotic. I never tried Le male parfum though.. I just feel Le male original is not strong as it was 10 years ago.. Le male original is my favourite fragrance

Hi, I lost the sprayer cap of my Le Male Ultra Male bottle so I feel like the smell will eventually evaporated out. Does anyone know of a solution to help me out such as where I can buy an empty, used bottle and just switch the sprayer? Or where to buy a sprayer that will fit onto the le male tube? Suggestion? That's how they get you. I think they don't want people to be able to refill but I know sauvage has a refillable bottle and you can get refills for it. Just dab it on loll.
I bought the parfume version and didn't like it at all. Very sweet and vanilla like. For me impossible to get away from this heavy sweetness. I guess its just not for me. Thanks for the reviews by the way 😊
I disagree you could still get la male if you have ultramale. La male it's more versatile then ultramale. But I would get la male at a discount not full price.
Although being very similar, they are different. Le Parfume if more subtle (due to less sweetness), not as punchy-sweet and more refined which makes it more wearable. I envision this being worn by a charming, seducing and confident guy who has made his transformation into a responsible man and for sure knows what his path in life is. Still the same confident guy, but matured.

I think the opening is underwhelming and the dry down is great. Eros is a great fragrance so I don't see how if le male le parfum reminded anyone of eros that would be considered a bad thing in any way. I think le male le parfum is much more spicey and warm compared to eros. I think they would layer very well.

I wear Le Parfum around the house all the time. It's very musky and masculine though. I like unisex fragrances but this one isn't bad at all.

La Parfum gets my vote. Ultra is too girly. I actually wouldn't mind a female smelling like that. La Parfum is an addictive smell for me.

Le Parfum is a disappointment. The opening is great but the dry down is Versace Eros at its best. Not worth the hype.
