    I love your channel! I watch you all the time. Thank you for making videos they really teach a lot. I have a question about the one step looper. Do you think the loops will come open, with a slight tug, while you are wearing the necklace? I know wrapped loops take more time, so I would love to use the one step looper. Do you know if the loops, made with the one step looper, will stand up to normal wear?

      You tube has a bunch of videos on the looper , just type in one step looper.

    So cool! I haven’t watched the show either so I’m going to have to binge watch it! 🤦🏼‍♀️
    I have a question about the loops - I’ve seen different videos that contradict each other as to the way the loops face. Some say to have them facing the same way and some say that they shouldn’t. Is there a “correct” way and why (or why not) does it matter?
    Thank you in advance and thank you for sharing! 💜

    • @DebyNieto-kq2ci
      @DebyNieto-kq2ci 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It really does't matter but you do not have to poke the wire all the way through when starting as you waste a lot of wire that way..only about 1/8 inch past. I have both sizes, I think they make 3 sizes but they are really great tools.

      Deby Nieto I just emailed the Bead Smith because mine doesn’t cut head pins if they’re short, it just wraps it around, and they told me that I have to use longer head pins! Which doesn’t make sense because I see so many people on TH-cam who don’t put it through!

    • @DebyNieto-kq2ci
      @DebyNieto-kq2ci 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@StitchesbySharonH Let me see if I understand..When you put the pin or wire in there is a jaw with the blade inside, you can go just a tad past that instead of putting it straight through to the hole...are you going just past that jaw ? Also try holding it at a different angle..I have never had that problem with mine unless you got a defective one with a dull cutter inside.

    • @StitchesbySharonH
      @StitchesbySharonH 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Deby Nieto Correct, it just flips the “tail” part that should be cut off, around so it looks like a loop with parallel wires under the loop. I took pictures and sent them with my email and the reply was that I needed to buy longer head pins. I replied back that I’ve seen it work for others and even sent a TH-cam video of someone showing it being used to cut the flat part of a head pin off and turn it into an eye pin, but they didn’t respond back. I think I got a “lemon” but they’re saying it’s not. I don’t know if I should just buy another one or what I should do. 🤷‍♀️

      @@StitchesbySharonH When did you buy it and where ? Check out the many videos on you tube under the one step looper. Also if you bought it at a store they might just let you exchange it but the company should be curious..I would be looking for a 1-800 number for their main branch. Let me know. I bet the cutter part is just a dud. Just wondering..what gage of head pins are you using and have you just tried 20 gauge wire ?

    I feel kind of dumb asking this, but I can't figure it out, so here goes. I bought a 1 step looper and can make perfect looups on one side of the wire but I just can't seem to figure out how to loop the other end once I put the beads on without cutting
    the wire. I have been looping the other end with my round nose plier. Can you demonstrate or explain how to do this, please?

    • @JewelSchool
      @JewelSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Michelle! There are no dumb questions. The idea with the one-step looper is to make a loop, either on one side or both sides of your bead. If on one side, just do exactly like your doing and use the looper (patent pending side up). If you plan you keep that long wire to wrap around the bead on the other side, then do not use the looper because it will always cut the wire off and you'll have two perfect loops on each side of the bead. Instead, you'd want to use your round nose plier and make a loop and then wrap the excess wire around itself. Here is a video that will demonstrate this (using a head pins, but the principle is still the same): th-cam.com/video/awTUIGXkf5M/w-d-xo.html
      Now, if you want loops on both sides, you use the looper the same on one side as you do the other, just make sure you have the "patent pending" words that are printed on the looper facing up! Here is the part of the video that shows you this. You can see the "patent pending" words are always face up. th-cam.com/video/AUztxjtzrUI/w-d-xo.html
      Hope this helps!

    Actually that is not a rosary.
    A rosary has a pendent of the sacred heart of Mary or just has just an image of Mary.
    And sacred heart of jesus or just an image of Jesus. Or has images of saints. And were the dragon fly is theirs supposed to a crucifix. So no that's not a rosary, the one you made would be a necklace. And it has an incorrect amount of spacing between the decades and also has an incorrect amount of beads.
